Frequently Asked Questions

Is 1800Baskets.com backed by the same guarantee as 1-800-Flowers.com?

Yes, 1800Baskets.com is part of the 1-800-Flowers.com family of brands and is covered under the same 100% Smile Guarantee, meaning if a customer isn't completely satisfied with their order, the company's team will work to redeliver, refund, credit, or offer a comparable exchange. This consistency across the family of brands is worth knowing if you've shopped 1-800-Flowers.com before and are trying 1800Baskets for the first time.

What kinds of gift baskets does 1800Baskets.com offer?

The catalog spans chocolate, fruit, wine, and spa-themed baskets, along with more substantial options built around savory meats, cheeses, nuts, and dried fruits for shoppers wanting something heartier than a sweets-focused gift. Baskets start at $39.99, giving a range of entry points depending on your budget and the occasion.

Does 1800Baskets.com offer same-day delivery?

As part of the broader 1-800-Flowers family, which advertises same-day and next-day delivery across its brands, 1800Baskets.com orders placed within the site's daily cutoff window are generally eligible for same-day delivery, though this depends on your specific delivery location and the item selected. Checking delivery availability for your zip code and date at checkout is the most reliable way to confirm before you need the gift.

Can I use a 1-800-Flowers gift card on 1800Baskets.com?

Yes, gift cards for the 1-800-Flowers family of brands are redeemable across multiple sister sites, including 1800Baskets.com, 1800Flowers.com, Cheryl's, FruitBouquets, and several others. This can be a useful way to combine a gift card balance with an active discount code across whichever brand in the family has what you're looking for.

Are 1800Baskets.com gift baskets appropriate for corporate gifting?

Yes, gift baskets from 1800Baskets.com are commonly used for corporate purposes, including thanking new or existing clients and marking business partnerships, alongside more personal occasions like birthdays and sympathy gifts. If you're ordering in bulk for a business purpose, it's worth checking whether the retailer offers any bulk or corporate gifting support beyond the standard checkout flow.

How does the 100% Smile Guarantee actually work if I have an issue?

If you're not completely satisfied with your order, the guarantee covers redelivery, a refund, a credit, or a comparable exchange, giving you multiple paths to a resolution rather than a single fixed outcome. Reaching out to customer service with your order details as soon as an issue comes up is the best way to start that process.

Saving Guide

Gourmet gift baskets carry a range of price points, so getting the most from a 1800Baskets.com order comes down to a few practical habits.

Choose a basket size that fits the occasion rather than defaulting to the biggest option:

Since baskets start at $39.99 and scale up from there depending on size and contents, matching the basket size to the actual occasion, a smaller basket for a casual thank-you versus a larger one for a major milestone, helps you avoid overspending on the wrong size.

Use a family gift card across whichever 1-800-Flowers brand fits your gift best:

Since gift cards work across 1800Baskets.com and its sister sites, holding onto a gift card balance until you find the right basket, bouquet, or gourmet food gift across the family rather than rushing to spend it on the first site you visit can help you find the best fit for your budget and discount code.

Lean on the Smile Guarantee rather than worrying excessively before ordering:

Since the guarantee covers redelivery, refunds, credit, or an exchange if you're not satisfied, this built-in protection makes it reasonable to try a new basket design or category you haven't ordered before, rather than sticking only to what you know.

Order ahead of your delivery date, especially around major gifting holidays:

Like most online gift retailers, availability and delivery windows tighten around high-volume periods, so ordering a few days ahead rather than at the last minute protects both your delivery timeline and your odds of getting your first-choice basket.

Consider a heartier basket for shared or office-wide corporate gifts:

Since the catalog includes savory options built around meats, cheeses, and nuts in addition to sweets, a heartier basket can work well as a shared office gift that isn't purely dessert-focused, which is worth considering for corporate or group gifting occasions.

Checklist before you check out:

Confirm delivery availability for your specific date and location, check whether a smaller or larger basket size better fits your occasion and budget, and hold onto any family gift card balance for whichever brand in the 1-800-Flowers family best matches your gift.
