Frequently Asked Questions

Does Blindsgalore offer free shipping?

Yes, standard shipping within the 48 contiguous states is free with no minimum order required. Alaska and Hawaii shipments carry a flat rate fee, and shades wider than 90 inches require an additional freight charge due to their size.

Can I return custom blinds if I change my mind?

No. Because every product is manufactured to the customer's exact measurements, Blindsgalore does not accept returns or issue refunds for a simple change of mind. Exchanges are available instead if the issue is a measuring mistake, an ordering error, or a damaged or incorrect item received.

How long do I have to request an exchange?

Exchange requests need to be submitted within 30 days of the delivery date, and exchanges are limited to one per item and four per household. Shutters and custom graphic shades are excluded from this exchange policy entirely.

Can I cancel or change my order after placing it?

Only if production has not started yet, which typically happens within 12 to 24 hours of the order being placed, and cancellations must be made by phone rather than email. Once production begins, the order is locked in.

Does Blindsgalore have a trade or professional discount?

Yes, the trade membership program offers exclusive discounts that can reach up to 50% off for design professionals, along with unlimited swatch samples and priority customer service. Eligibility details are not always spelled out clearly on the site, so contacting customer service directly is the fastest way to confirm qualification.

Can I stack multiple Blindsgalore discount codes?

No, Blindsgalore does not allow discount codes to be combined, so it is worth comparing available codes and using whichever offers the larger savings on a given order.

Does Blindsgalore have a birthday or loyalty discount?

There is no formal points based rewards program, but signing up for the email newsletter has unlocked occasional perks like a birthday discount code, generally valid for a limited window after it is issued.

How often does Blindsgalore run sales?

Blindsgalore features new weekly promotions on name brand window coverings, and larger sitewide discounts, sometimes reaching 50% off, tend to appear around major shopping holidays like Black Friday, Memorial Day, and Cyber Monday.

Saving Guide

Why measuring twice matters more here than at most stores

Since Blindsgalore does not accept returns on custom products for a simple change of mind, the single biggest way to protect your budget is getting the measurement and style choice right before the order goes into production, not after.

Using free swatch samples before you commit

Ordering free swatch samples ahead of a purchase lets a shopper confirm color and material in their own lighting, which matters more for a non returnable custom order than it would for an off the shelf product.

Working the weekly promotions instead of hunting for a stackable code

Because discount codes cannot be combined, it is generally more effective to wait for one of Blindsgalore's weekly sales, which apply automatically in the cart, rather than trying to stack a code on top of an already discounted item.

Timing a purchase around major sales events

Watching for Black Friday, Memorial Day, and Cyber Monday specifically tends to surface the deepest sitewide discounts of the year, sometimes up to 50% off, for shoppers who can wait for the calendar to line up with a renovation timeline.

Getting the most from free shipping

Since standard shipping is already free with no minimum in the 48 contiguous states, the real cost variable to watch is width. Shades over 90 inches trigger a separate freight charge, so splitting an unusually wide window into two panels can sometimes avoid that fee.

Making trade membership worth pursuing

Design professionals or frequent buyers should reach out about the trade membership program directly, since the discount tier can go as high as 50% off and includes unlimited samples, which pays for itself quickly on multi room projects.

Checklist before checkout

Double check every measurement against the guidance provided, order swatches first if color matters, confirm the order is within the 12 to 24 hour cancellation window if you need to make a change, and compare any active discount code against the current weekly promotion before applying either one.
