Frequently Asked Questions
Can I cancel an order or membership if I change my mind?
Yes, orders can be canceled for a full refund within 3 days of purchase provided they haven't shipped yet, and membership itself can be canceled within 3 days of joining for a full refund, though any benefits already used during that window will be deducted.
What happens once an order has shipped?
Once an order is successfully delivered, it cannot be returned, and Flaviar's policy states clearly that all sales are generally considered final beyond the early cancellation window, so it's worth being confident about a bottle before it ships.
Does membership actually save money on individual bottles?
Yes, Flaviar Black members typically save 10 to 15 percent on individual bottle purchases compared to non-member pricing, and members also get free shipping on qualifying orders, Flaviar Originals, and quarterly deliveries, plus 50 percent off shipping on everything else.
Is there a minimum order for free shipping as a non-member?
Non-members pay standard shipping rates on every order, while members receive free or discounted shipping depending on the product category, making membership more valuable the more frequently you order.
Is there a discount for first-time customers?
Yes, new members typically receive a thank-you discount around $35 off their first order, and signing up for the newsletter or referring a friend to Flaviar can unlock additional bottle or tasting box rewards.
Can I use a promo code alongside my membership discount?
Only one promotion or code can generally be applied per order, so comparing your available discounts, whether a membership price, a sitewide code, or a specific bottle promotion, helps determine which combination saves the most.
What's the best time to buy the Whiskey Advent Calendar?
The Advent Calendar typically goes on presale in early July and includes a complimentary Flaviar Black membership worth around $40, with the retail value of the included spirits samples often exceeding the calendar's purchase price by 30 to 40 percent, making early sign-up worthwhile if you want a shot at it before it sells out.
