Frequently Asked Questions

How does the hidden jewelry actually work at JewelScent?

Every scented product, whether it's a soy candle, bar of soap, bath bomb, or fragrance bead jar, contains one piece of jewelry sealed inside, valued anywhere from $10 up to $7,500. Products containing jewelry worth more than $100 include a gold token as a marker, so buyers know before they even open the product that it holds one of the higher value pieces.

Can I get my JewelScent jewelry appraised?

Yes, JewelScent offers an appraisal service so customers can find out the value of the ring or piece they uncover. This is a useful step before deciding whether to keep a piece or sell it back through the company's resell program.

Does JewelScent have a resell program for the jewelry?

JewelScent runs a program that lets customers resell jewelry they've found in their products but don't want to keep, giving an option beyond simply holding onto or gifting a piece that isn't to their taste.

Are JewelScent coupon codes different for independent consultants versus the main site?

JewelScent sells both through its own site and through independent consultants who run personal storefronts under the JewelScent name. Promo codes advertised for the main JewelScent site may not carry over to a consultant's individual page, so it's worth confirming you're checking out through the storefront the code was actually issued for.

What scents and product types does JewelScent offer?

The core lineup includes soy candles, bar and liquid soaps, bath bombs, and fragrance beads, each available across a rotating range of scents. New scent releases and limited edition collections are common enough that returning shoppers often find different options from one order to the next.

Is the ring size adjustable if it doesn't fit?

Since the jewelry is a surprise sealed inside the product, buyers don't get to choose a ring size in advance. Many customers use a local jeweler for resizing after the fact, or take advantage of JewelScent's resell option if the piece isn't a fit they want to keep.

Saving Guide

JewelScent's savings guide looks a little different from a typical bath and candle brand because part of the value here comes from the jewelry itself, not just the scented product it's wrapped around.

Understand what you're actually paying for:

Every JewelScent purchase includes a guaranteed piece of jewelry worth at least $10, which changes the math on any coupon you apply. A percentage off code effectively discounts both the candle or soap and the jewelry inside it, so even a modest sitewide code stretches further here than on a product with no hidden value.

Watch for gold token listings:

Products marked with a gold token contain jewelry valued over $100, meaning the item inside can be worth many times the price of the candle or soap itself. These are usually priced the same as standard products, so applying any available discount code to a gold token item maximizes the value of that code.

Buying through consultants versus the main site:

Because JewelScent operates through both a company site and independent consultant storefronts, pricing and available promotions can differ slightly between the two. If a code doesn't work on one storefront, it's worth checking whether the same product is listed through a consultant page where a different promotion might apply.

Consider the resell program before writing off an unwanted piece:

If the jewelry you uncover isn't your style or the wrong size, JewelScent's resell program and appraisal service give a way to recover some value rather than letting the piece sit unused, effectively lowering the real cost of that purchase.

Before you check out:

Confirm whether you're ordering through JewelScent's main site or a consultant's storefront, look for gold token labeled products if you want better odds on jewelry value, and hold onto your appraisal option in mind if the piece you receive isn't one you'll wear.
