Frequently Asked Questions
Does KeySmart offer free shipping?
Yes, orders over $60 ship free within the U.S. Smaller orders and orders shipped outside the country pay standard shipping rates at checkout.
How long do I have to return a KeySmart order?
Returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt as long as the item is undamaged; after that window KeySmart can't offer a refund, credit, or exchange. Customers cover the return shipping cost themselves.
Is there a restocking fee on any KeySmart products?
Yes, once a KeySmart Max or Pro tracker has been linked to a phone, KeySmart charges a 15% restocking fee on returns, since a synced unit can no longer be resold as new. Unlinked, unused organizers don't carry this fee.
Can I combine a coupon code with the military discount?
KeySmart's GovX-verified discount, open to military members, first responders, government employees, and teachers, is a separate single-use code issued after verification and generally isn't meant to be layered with other sitewide promo codes at checkout.
What's covered under the KeySmart warranty?
New KeySmart organizers come with a 2-year warranty against breaking under normal wear and tear; KeySmart replaces the unit if you send photos and a brief description of what happened. Cosmetic wear from everyday carry isn't the same as a manufacturing failure, so claims are reviewed case by case.
Are Mystery Pouch or Warehouse Deals items returnable?
No, mystery pouch sales are final because of the surprise nature of what's inside, so it's worth treating that purchase as a one-way deal rather than something to return if a code doesn't apply.
How does KeySmart's store credit work if I return an item?
Store credit from a return is tied to the purchasing email, expires 12 months after issue, and can only be used once per customer, so it's not something to bank on for a future coupon-stacked order.
