Frequently Asked Questions
Does LA Police Gear offer free shipping?
Some items ship free within the continental U.S. depending on the product, and orders that meet a minimum spend qualify for a low cost economy shipping option. Shipping details vary by item weight and size rather than applying storewide, so check the product page.
How long is LA Police Gear's return window?
60 days from the date of purchase. Returns can be processed as a refund, exchange, or store credit, which gives more flexibility than the 30 day window many tactical retailers use.
Why doesn't my coupon code work on a certain brand?
LA Police Gear excludes a number of major brands from percentage off promotions, including 5.11 Tactical, SureFire, Galco, Arc'teryx, Under Armour, Oakley, Bates, and Aimpoint. Coupon terms usually spell out which brands and categories are excluded before you check out.
What is LAPG Freedom Rewards?
It is LA Police Gear's free points program, earning 1 point for every dollar spent. Once you reach 100 points, they convert into a $5 coupon usable on a future order, and higher tiers add perks like early sale access and bonus point rates.
Does LA Police Gear price match?
Yes, if you find a lower price from an authorized reseller for the exact same item, LA Police Gear will match it. You typically need to provide a direct link to the competitor's listing when requesting the match.
Is there a discount for joining the LA Police Gear email list?
Yes, new subscribers to email and SMS alerts typically receive an instant coupon for their first order. The exact percentage varies by current promotion, so check the signup popup for the active offer.
Can I combine a LA Police Gear coupon code with a sale?
Generally only one coupon code can be applied per order, though some sale pricing and free shipping promotions can run alongside a code depending on the offer's terms. Reading a specific coupon's fine print before checkout avoids a surprise at payment.
What happens if I need to cancel an order?
Contact customer service immediately, since orders that have already shipped cannot be canceled and must go through the standard 60 day return process instead, which may include a restocking fee on certain items.
Does LA Police Gear have a referral program?
Yes, the Give $25, Get $25 program. You share a $25 discount with a friend on their first order of $75 or more, and you receive a $25 reward once their order goes through.
Does LA Police Gear offer a military or first responder discount?
Yes, verified military, law enforcement, and first responders can generally access an additional discount through ID.me verification at checkout, separate from standard sitewide promo codes.
