Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to receive a key after buying from SCDkey?
Most customers get their code within 10 minutes of completing checkout, though it can take up to 30 minutes during busier periods. Returning customers tend to see faster delivery than first time buyers.
Can I use more than one promo code on the same SCDkey order?
Yes, up to four SCDkey promo codes can typically be combined on a single order, and the order you enter them in doesn't change the total discount. Some codes carry their own product or region restrictions, so not every combination will stack cleanly.
What's SCDkey's refund policy if I change my mind?
A key can only be refunded if it hasn't been redeemed yet, and the request has to be made within 15 days of purchase. Once a code is activated on Steam or another platform, it's no longer eligible for a refund.
What if my SCDkey purchase turns out to be faulty?
If a key doesn't work or the product is defective, you need to notify SCDkey within 15 days of purchase to qualify for a refund. Reporting the issue promptly matters here since there's no extended window beyond that 15 day mark.
Why isn't my SCDkey promo code working?
Codes on SCDkey are commonly tied to a specific region, platform, or product line, so a mismatch there is the most frequent cause of a code failing. It's also worth checking whether the code has expired or whether it excludes the title already in your cart.
Does SCDkey offer a discount for military or students?
SCDkey doesn't run a standing student discount, and its published military discount applies to in person purchases rather than the online store, so it can't be combined with online promo codes. New subscribers to the email list typically get a one time 10 to 15 percent code instead.
When are SCDkey's biggest sales?
Discounts run deepest during major seasonal events like the Steam Summer Sale, Black Friday, and the back to school period, sometimes reaching up to 90 percent off select titles. Outside of those windows, sitewide codes tend to land in the 3 to 30 percent range.
Does SCDkey charge for shipping?
No, since every product is a digital key delivered by email, there's no shipping cost or physical delivery involved at all.
