Frequently Asked Questions
What is the F1 Store's return policy?
Most unworn items in their original condition can be returned within 90 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, which is a longer window than most sports and apparel retailers offer. Personalized and customized products are not eligible for return.
Does the F1 Store charge for return shipping?
A $9.99 fee is deducted from the refund for using the store's own prepaid return label, though that fee is waived if the refund is taken as an e-gift card instead of cash back to the original payment method. If the return is the store's fault, that fee is covered instead of charged to the customer.
Can I exchange an item instead of returning it for a refund?
Exchanges are available for shipments within the US and Canada, and the store honors the original purchase price paid, including any promotion or discount that applied at checkout, so an exchange never costs more even if the item's price has since gone up.
Does the F1 Store offer free shipping?
Free standard shipping applies to qualifying orders over a set minimum within the US, and that threshold can drop or disappear entirely during major sales events like Black Friday or December promotions.
Is there a student or key worker discount?
Yes, the F1 Store runs a dedicated Student & Key Worker Discount program, generally requiring ID verification through a third party service rather than a standard promo code.
What discount do new customers get for signing up?
New subscribers to the F1 Store newsletter typically receive a welcome discount on their first order, commonly cited around 10 to 15% off eligible merchandise.
Will I be charged customs duties on an international order?
Orders shipped outside the country of origin can be subject to import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees charged separately by local customs authorities, and these charges are not included in the price shown at checkout.
