Frequently Asked Questions
How long is Zavvi's return window?
Shoppers have 14 days from the date of receiving an order to start a return under Zavvi's Absolute Satisfaction Guarantee, and items need to be unused and in their original condition.
Is return shipping free at Zavvi?
No, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning an item, since Zavvi's policy states the direct cost of return shipping falls on the shopper rather than being covered upfront.
Are all products eligible for return at Zavvi?
Most items are, but health and beauty products including perfume, clothing and footwear, jewelry, and computing and electronics can only be returned unopened and in their original condition, with tags, labels, and seals intact. Confectionery has an even shorter window and must be returned within 48 hours of receipt.
What happens if a Zavvi order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Rather than refusing delivery, Zavvi asks customers to accept the package and report the issue through their account's message center, ideally with photos, so the team can review the case and arrange a replacement or refund.
How long does a Zavvi refund take to process?
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 working days of Zavvi receiving the returned item back at their facility.
Does Zavvi offer a discount for students or military members?
Yes, verified students can get a discount through student verification services, and active duty military, veterans, and their families can access a separate discount through Veterans Advantage, which has run higher than Zavvi's standard public promo codes.
Can more than one discount be used on a Zavvi order?
Zavvi processes one promo code per order at checkout, so it's worth comparing available codes, since discounts can range from a percentage off to bundle deals depending on what's currently running.
Does signing up for the Zavvi newsletter come with a discount?
Yes, new subscribers have received a welcome discount on their first order, along with ongoing access to news about new releases and exclusive online offers.
