Frequently Asked Questions
Does Algenist offer a discount for first time customers?
Yes, signing up for the Algenist newsletter typically unlocks 15 percent off your first order along with free standard shipping. This is usually the most straightforward discount to claim before browsing the rest of the site for additional codes.
Is there a minimum order for free shipping at Algenist?
Algenist offers free standard shipping on orders over $50, and orders over $250 require a signature upon delivery. If your cart falls under that $50 threshold, it is worth adding a smaller travel size item to clear the line and skip the shipping charge.
How long do I have to return an Algenist product?
Algenist accepts returns within 30 days of your order date, and you need to email customer service first to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization number along with shipping instructions before sending anything back. Items shipped to Algenist after that 30 day window may not be accepted, so it is worth starting the process promptly if a product is not working out.
Are original and return shipping fees refunded on an Algenist return?
No, Algenist does not refund original or return shipping fees, so factor that into your decision if you are on the fence about a purchase. The refund itself covers the product cost, but the shipping portion of your original order is not returned.
Does Algenist have a rewards or loyalty program?
Yes, joining Algenist's rewards program gets you 5 percent back on purchases, which functions as an ongoing savings path separate from one time promo codes. This is worth setting up if you plan to reorder your routine regularly rather than shopping as a one off customer.
Can I combine a promo code with the Algenist rewards program?
Generally yes, reward points and promo codes tend to operate independently, so you can typically earn rewards on a purchase even while using an active discount code, though stacking two separate promo codes on the same order is not supported. Check your specific code's terms if you are unsure.
Does Algenist offer a referral discount?
Yes, Algenist's refer a friend program lets you and the friend you refer both receive a discount when they make a purchase. This is a useful way to save again after you have already used your first order code.
What if I want to cancel an upcoming Algenist subscription shipment?
You can cancel any upcoming subscription shipment up to 72 hours before its scheduled ship date through your subscription account, and you also have the option to pause or change the frequency instead of canceling outright. Subscription orders ship free regardless of order size, which is a separate benefit from the $50 free shipping threshold on one time orders.
