Frequently Asked Questions
How long do I have to inspect and return a purchase?
You have 15 days from the date of purchase to inspect your product, and if you're not satisfied, you must notify Faxon within that window to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization code, which needs to appear on both the inside and outside of your return package.
Does the return refund cover shipping?
No, the refund covers the original purchase price only, exclusive of shipping, restocking fees, or taxes, so it's worth factoring that in when deciding whether to return a product you're on the fence about.
What does the Lifetime Guarantee actually cover, and for how long?
Products are covered by a 3-year parts and labor repair policy alongside the broader Lifetime Guarantee, and registering your product isn't required to use the guarantee, though it does expedite the process if a problem comes up.
Can I return a product bought through an authorized dealer?
No, if you purchased through a dealer rather than directly from Faxon's website, you need to contact that dealer for your refund, since Faxon only processes returns for products bought directly through Faxonfirearms.com.
Is there a discount for military members and law enforcement?
Yes, the Guardian Purchase Program offers special pricing to verified active or retired military, law enforcement, and first responders, requiring identity verification through ID.me, and it's generally not combinable with other discounts.
Is there a rewards program?
Yes, the Faxon Embassy rewards program lets you earn points toward redeemable coupons, with 150 points worth a $5 coupon and 250 points worth $10, building up gradually through purchases and account activity.
Is shipping free?
No, Faxon Firearms does not offer free shipping. Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of your order and the distance it needs to travel from their Ohio facility.
