Frequently Asked Questions
Why does Zulily shipping take longer than other retailers?
Zulily generally does not hold inventory before a sale, so once an event closes it places a bulk order with the brand, receives the stock at its own warehouse, and then sorts and ships individual orders. That process typically adds up to 8 to 10 days before a package even leaves Zulily's hands, on top of standard delivery time.
How can I avoid paying full shipping on a Zulily order?
The standard shipping and handling fee starts around $7.99 for a single item order, but each additional item added to the same cart knocks about $1 off the total shipping cost. Ordering nine or more items in one go typically brings shipping down to free.
What is Zulily's return policy?
Items are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt, though undergarments, mystery packs, and anything marked final sale cannot be sent back. A return shipping fee applies unless Return and Package Protection was purchased at checkout, and refunds are generally issued minus that fee.
Does Zulily refund to my original payment method or store credit?
Refunds are applied to the original form of payment once the return is received and inspected, which typically takes one to three business days to post after processing. Processing the return itself, from mailing it back to Zulily completing inspection, can take two to four weeks.
Can I exchange an item instead of returning it?
Zulily offers one free exchange per order for the same item in a different size or color, though exchanges are not guaranteed to be available. The exchange only ships out once the original return has been scanned as accepted by the carrier, and a second exchange on that same item is not permitted.
Does the Zulily app offer better discounts than the website?
The app includes an app exclusive discount, often around an extra 15% off, that applies on top of an already discounted flash sale price. Downloading the app before a sale drops is worth doing if a specific brand or category is being watched closely.
Can I use Buy Now, Pay Later on Zulily?
Zulily accepts Afterpay, Zip, and Sezzle at checkout, all of which split a purchase into four interest free installments rather than requiring the full amount upfront.
Why did an item I wanted sell out so quickly?
Because Zulily buys a limited quantity for each flash sale rather than restocking continuously, popular items, especially anything labeled a best seller, can disappear within hours of a sale going live. Checking back near the 9am ET launch window gives the best shot at catching a specific item before it sells out.
