Frequently Asked Questions

Does Armor Concepts offer free shipping?

Standard shipping has been offered free on Door Armor kits; it's worth confirming the current shipping terms at checkout, since promotions can change.

What is Armor Concepts' return policy?

Door Armor doesn't charge a restocking fee on any item returned within the 60-day return period; returns are processed through the company's online Returns & Exchanges Portal.

Is Door Armor covered by a warranty?

Yes, Door Armor kits come with a limited lifetime warranty, backing the hardware well beyond the standard return window.

How long does installation take?

Most kits install in about 30 minutes using just a drill, without needing to remove the door itself; the kit includes hardened steel screws and a drill bit.

Is Door Armor actually tested for security?

Yes, the system is described as police-tested and recommended, and has been featured in national media coverage of home security products.

Does a discount code apply to a multi-door order?

Since many households have more than one exterior door needing reinforcement, it's worth checking whether an active sitewide code applies per item or has a cap, so a multi-kit order gets the full benefit of the discount.

What if a component arrives damaged?

Any components received damaged should be reported to Armor Concepts' customer service as soon as possible, with the packing slip on hand for reference; the company will provide instructions on how to proceed.

Saving Guide

Why the 60-Day Return Window Makes This Low-Risk

Because Armor Concepts doesn't charge a restocking fee on returns made within 60 days, and processes them through an online portal, applying a coupon code to a Door Armor kit carries little downside if it turns out not to fit a particular door configuration.

Outfitting Multiple Doors in One Order

Since most homes have more than one exterior entry point, and coupon codes often apply to the full cart total, buying kits for all the doors you plan to reinforce in a single order can make more efficient use of a percentage-off code than ordering one kit at a time.

Leaning on the Lifetime Warranty for Long-Term Value

Because the limited lifetime warranty extends coverage well past the initial purchase, a coupon-discounted Door Armor kit is protected for the life of the product, which is worth factoring in against cheaper reinforcement options that don't carry the same backing.

Confirming Compatibility Before You Order

Since the kit is designed to reinforce an existing door rather than replace it, checking your specific door type and frame material against Armor Concepts' compatibility guidance before applying a coupon code avoids ordering a kit that needs to be returned.

Before You Check Out

  • Count how many exterior doors you actually plan to reinforce and order them together if a sitewide code applies to the full order
  • Confirm current shipping terms at checkout, since free shipping promotions can change
  • Keep the packing slip handy in case any component arrives damaged
  • Remember the 60-day return window has no restocking fee, so there's little downside to trying it

About Armor Concepts

Armor Concepts makes Door Armor, a patented door reinforcement system that fortifies an existing door's jamb, hinges, and strike plate against forced entry, without requiring a full door replacement. Made in the USA from 16-gauge galvannealed steel with a powder-coated finish, the kit installs in about 30 minutes with basic tools and has secured more than 500,000 doors since the company started in 2004. Shoppers can find current Armor Concepts coupon codes and discounts on this page, useful given that outfitting more than one exterior door adds up quickly.
