Frequently Asked Questions
What is Hot Octopuss's standard return policy?
Unopened and unused items can be returned within 14 days of purchase, with the refund covering the product cost only since shipping charges are not refunded. Lubricants, sprays, and serums cannot be returned under any circumstances.
What if a Hot Octopuss product just isn't right for me once I've tried it?
Hot Octopuss offers a separate 45 day satisfaction policy specifically for its tech products, allowing a request for an exchange rather than a refund if a device turns out to be incompatible. The original item needs to be sent back using a tracked shipping method, and an exchanged item is not eligible for a second satisfaction claim.
Does Hot Octopuss offer a warranty on its products?
Yes, products bought through authorized retailers carry a one year manufacturer's warranty against defects. A warranty claim results in a replacement rather than a refund, and keeping the itemized receipt is necessary to process it.
Is my Hot Octopuss order shipped discreetly?
Yes, every order goes out in a plain box with no external markings indicating what is inside. Billing statements show a discreet descriptor rather than the brand name, for additional privacy.
Can I combine a Hot Octopuss promo code with a sale?
Hot Octopuss generally allows only one promo code per order, and codes typically cannot be combined with other running promotions or free gift offers. The checkout system will usually only accept the most recently entered code if more than one is tried.
Are all Hot Octopuss products eligible for the standard return policy?
No, items in the HO Loves curated collection operate under separate terms from the standard 14 day return policy, so it is worth checking the specific product page for any collection labeled that way before assuming the usual rules apply.
Why would my Hot Octopuss discount code not apply at checkout?
The most common causes are a code excluded from lubricants and accessories, a cart total below the required minimum, or an attempt to stack more than one code. Entering only the most relevant single code tends to resolve most issues.
