Frequently Asked Questions
Does Ivacy VPN offer a money back guarantee?
Yes, Ivacy backs its monthly plan with a 7 day money back guarantee and its annual and 5 year plans with a 30 day guarantee. Refunds are typically not available on payments made through cryptocurrency, so it's worth choosing a card or PayPal at checkout if keeping that safety net matters to you.
Why is Ivacy's 5 year plan so much cheaper per month than the monthly plan?
Like most VPN providers, Ivacy prices its longer commitments far lower per month than its month to month option, with the 5 year plan working out to close to a dollar a month compared to nearly ten dollars for a single month. If you're fairly confident you'll stick with the service, the multi year plan paired with a discount code offers the deepest long term savings.
Can I stack an Ivacy discount code with an existing sale price?
Ivacy periodically runs its own storewide promotions, such as steep percentage discounts around Black Friday, and a separate coupon code may not apply on top of an already discounted checkout price. Try the code on the standard pricing page first to confirm it's additive rather than assuming it will stack with a seasonal deal.
Does Ivacy limit how many devices I can connect at once?
Yes, most Ivacy plans allow up to 10 simultaneous device connections, which covers phones, laptops, and streaming devices for most households without needing to log out and back in constantly. If you need more, contacting customer support directly is the way to ask about expanding that limit.
What extras can I add to an Ivacy subscription?
Ivacy offers optional add ons like port forwarding and a dedicated IP address in a handful of country locations, each for a small monthly fee on top of the base plan. These aren't included in the discount codes for the core subscription, so check pricing on the add on separately before assuming a promo code covers it.
Does Ivacy offer a free trial before I commit to a paid plan?
Ivacy has offered short trial options, such as a single day free trial or a low cost week long trial, though these aren't always prominently advertised on the main pricing page. Since the paid plans already come with a money back guarantee, many shoppers just buy the annual or 5 year plan directly and use the guarantee window as their trial period instead.
Why would my Ivacy refund request get denied?
The most common reasons are paying through a non-refundable method like cryptocurrency, requesting a refund after the guarantee window has closed, or violating the fair usage terms in Ivacy's refund policy. Reading the specific refund terms for your payment method before purchasing avoids a surprise later.
Does Ivacy ever discount its dedicated IP or port forwarding add ons?
These add ons are priced separately from the core VPN subscription and aren't always covered by sitewide promo codes, so it's worth checking the current price on the add on itself rather than assuming a big storewide discount code applies to everything in your cart.
