Frequently Asked Questions

Can a JINsoon coupon be applied to a defective item replacement?

Replacements and credits for defective products are handled through their own separate process rather than a standard purchase, so a promotional code likely wouldn't apply to that specific resolution.

What is JINsoon's return policy?

Nail Lacquer and related products are non-returnable, in order to maintain sanitary standards across the product line.

What happens if I receive a defective JINsoon product?

Email a photo of the defective merchandise along with the order number to roger@jinsoon.com within 48 hours of receiving the package to be eligible for a replacement or credit for the product's value.

Does JINsoon ship outside the continental United States?

No, JINsoon ships only within the continental US. Canadian customers are directed to The Green Jungle Beauty Shop for JINsoon products instead.

Why does JINsoon only offer ground shipping?

Nail polish is classified as a hazardous material for shipping purposes, so JINsoon can only ship it via ground rather than air, which can affect delivery speed depending on distance.

Can I cancel a JINsoon order after placing it?

Contacting customer service as soon as possible gives the best chance of canceling an order, though there's no guarantee once it's already being processed.

What happens if my JINsoon order goes through a freight forwarder that doesn't forward it?

JINsoon isn't able to refund or accept a return in that situation, since the order technically reached its destination before the forwarder made its own decision not to pass it along.

Can I use a JINsoon gift certificate at any of the physical spa locations?

Yes, a gift certificate can be used at any of the brand's spa locations, and tips can now be added to or paid from the gift card as well.

Saving Guide

Because JINsoon nail lacquer is non-returnable across the board, being confident about color and formula before ordering matters more here than at most beauty retailers.

Researching shades carefully before ordering

Since a purchased polish can't be returned simply because the color wasn't quite what was expected, checking swatches, reviews, and photos on different skin tones before ordering, rather than relying on a single product image, reduces the risk of an unreturnable mismatch.

Documenting a defect within 48 hours

Given how tight that window is for a replacement or credit, checking a new bottle for issues like separation, an unusual texture, or a broken applicator as soon as it arrives, rather than setting it aside, protects the ability to get a resolution.

Planning for ground shipping timelines

Since nail polish can only ship via ground due to its hazardous materials classification, ordering with enough lead time before a specific event or gift occasion accounts for the somewhat slower delivery speed compared to air shipping.

Considering a spa visit to test shades in person

For anyone near one of JINsoon's physical locations, seeing a color in person or asking staff for recommendations before an online order can help avoid ordering a shade that doesn't work out.

Confirming a US shipping address before ordering

Because JINsoon only ships within the continental US, Canadian customers should order through The Green Jungle Beauty Shop directly rather than attempting checkout on JINsoon's own site.

Before you check out

Research a shade thoroughly before ordering since standard returns aren't available, check any new bottle for defects within 48 hours of arrival, and confirm your shipping address is within the continental US.

About Jinsoon

JINsoon makes 21-free nail lacquer formulated without ingredients like formaldehyde, toluene, and parabens, developed by founder Jin Soon Choi, whose namesake nail salons have served a loyal following in New York for years. The brand pairs its polish line with a handful of physical spa locations offering manicure and pedicure services alongside the retail lacquer collection. Shoppers can find current JINsoon coupon codes and discounts on this page, worth knowing about clearly since nail lacquer here is non-returnable for sanitary reasons.
