Frequently Asked Questions
Can I return a Molekule air purifier if it doesn't work out?
Yes, devices purchased directly from molekule.com can be returned within 30 days of the shipment date or point of sale, whichever is later, for a full refund.
Does Molekule offer exchanges instead of returns?
No, Molekule doesn't currently offer exchanges or upgrades. Instead, you return the device for a refund and place a new order for whichever model you want next.
Are replacement filters covered by the same 30-day policy?
Filters purchased directly from Molekule carry their own 30-day money-back window from the filter's shipment date, though the refund excludes any expedited shipping or finance charges you paid.
What's the difference between the 30-day return and the 2-year warranty?
The 30-day policy is a satisfaction window for returning a device you've decided not to keep, while the 2-year manufacturer warranty covers defects in a device you intend to keep using. Neither period can be extended beyond its stated timeframe.
Can I return a Molekule purifier bought from Amazon or another retailer?
No, devices purchased from an authorized retailer, reseller, or other third party are excluded from Molekule's own 30-day refund policy, so those returns need to go through wherever the purchase was made.
Does Molekule offer free shipping?
Orders that include a device ship free via ground shipping within the continental US and Alaska. Hawaii orders ship by FedEx 2-Day Air with the cost calculated at checkout.
How can I save on replacement filters over time?
Setting up a filter subscription delivers replacements automatically every six months and can be paused or canceled at any point, which tends to work out cheaper per filter than buying single replacements as needed.
When does Molekule typically offer its deepest discounts?
Memorial Day and the Black Friday to Cyber Monday stretch tend to bring the largest markdowns on Molekule purifiers, so timing a purchase around either event is a reasonable strategy if your air quality need isn't urgent.
Can I buy a refurbished Molekule purifier for less?
Molekule sells refurbished units at a discount off the price of a new device, which is worth checking if you're comfortable with a like-new unit rather than one straight from the factory.
