Frequently Asked Questions
Can I cancel my membership at any time?
Yes. Wine Of The Month Club lets members cancel whenever they choose, either through the account page, by emailing support, or by calling customer service directly. Once you cancel, no further shipments go out, so it is worth doing before the next billing cycle if you want to avoid one more charge.
What happens if I don't like a bottle?
The club backs every shipment with a satisfaction guarantee, meaning if a wine isn't for you, contacting customer service gets it replaced or refunded rather than leaving you stuck with a bottle you won't drink. This is worth using rather than letting a disliked bottle sit unused, since the guarantee has no small print about opened bottles
Does every state receive shipments?
Wine Of The Month Club ships to all states unless local alcohol shipping laws prohibit it, so a small number of states with restrictive wine shipping rules may not be eligible. Someone 21 or older also has to be available to sign for the delivery, since carriers require an adult signature for alcohol.
Can I lower my cost by prepaying for several shipments?
Yes, Wine Of The Month Club offers a discount on prepaid subscriptions covering multiple shipments paid upfront, which tends to save more per bottle than paying month to month, and a coupon code can often be layered on top of the prepaid price
Is there a referral discount?
Yes, referring a friend to Wine Of The Month Club earns a credit toward your next order once they confirm their membership, and there is no cap mentioned on how many friends you can refer
What if no one is home to sign for a delivery?
If a signature can't be obtained, the carrier charges a reshipping fee to send the package again, so it's worth choosing a work address or somewhere reliably staffed during the day if home delivery is inconvenient
Can I use more than one coupon code per order?
No, only one promo code can be applied per order at checkout, so compare your available codes against the prepaid subscription discount before checking out to see which combination saves the most.
