Frequently Asked Questions

Does Albany Park offer a trial period before committing to a sofa?

Yes, every order comes with a 30-day in-home trial. If the piece doesn't work out once it's actually in your space, it can be returned with no questions asked within that window.

Is shipping free on Albany Park furniture?

Yes, delivery is free and typically arrives curbside in boxes designed to move easily through stairwells and tight hallways, without needing a professional delivery crew to assemble.

How much can a coupon code save on an Albany Park purchase?

Email sign-up codes commonly offer a set dollar amount off a first order, such as $150 off, while sitewide sales during events like Memorial Day or Black Friday have run discounts up to 45% off without needing a separate code at all.

Does Albany Park have a referral program?

Yes, referring a friend gets them a discount on their first order, generally requiring a minimum purchase amount, while the referring customer receives a gift card reward once the referred purchase goes through.

What's covered under Albany Park's warranty?

Albany Park backs its sofas and sectionals with a lifetime warranty on top of the 30-day trial, covering the kiln-dried hardwood or steel frame construction that the furniture is built on.

Can a discount code be combined with financing through Affirm?

Yes, Affirm financing and a promo code aren't mutually exclusive. The discount applies to the order total first, and Affirm then splits that discounted amount into interest-free or interest-bearing monthly payments depending on credit eligibility.

Why might a return face a restocking fee?

While the 30-day trial is advertised as no questions asked, some customers have reported restocking fees or freight charges being applied depending on the circumstances of the return, so it's worth confirming the exact terms for your order before assuming the return will be entirely free.

Does Albany Park run seasonal sales?

Yes, sales cluster around major shopping periods like Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Black Friday, with sitewide discounts that have reached up to 45% off and often stack with free shipping, generally without requiring a separate coupon code.

Saving Guide

Albany Park's biggest advantage for cost-conscious shoppers is that its core savings mechanisms, the trial period and free shipping, are already built into every order, so the real strategy is timing your purchase and knowing what's covered afterward.

Timing a purchase around a seasonal sale:

Because sitewide events during Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Black Friday have discounted the catalog by as much as 45% without a code, it's often smarter to wait for one of these windows on a big-ticket sectional than to rely on a smaller percentage-off coupon during a regular month.

Using the email sign-up discount on a first order:

New customers can typically unlock a set dollar amount off, such as $150, just by registering an email address, which is worth doing before browsing rather than after you've already picked a sofa, since some of these codes expire quickly.

Leaning on the referral program for repeat savings:

If a friend or family member is also furniture shopping, Albany Park's referral program gives them a discount on their first order above a minimum purchase amount, while you get a gift card back, making it worth mentioning to anyone else furnishing a living room.

Understanding what the 30-day trial actually covers:

The trial is billed as no questions asked, but it's worth confirming the specifics for your order type, since some customers have reported restocking or freight charges depending on the return reason. Reading the return terms at checkout, rather than assuming full flexibility, avoids a surprise deduction.

Relying on the lifetime warranty instead of extended protection plans:

Since the frame construction is already covered by a lifetime warranty on top of the 30-day trial, there's typically no need to pay extra for a third-party furniture protection plan just to cover structural issues with the frame.

Before ordering, sign up for the email list to grab the first-order discount, check whether a seasonal sale is close enough to wait for, and read the return terms carefully so you know exactly what the 30-day trial covers for your specific piece.
