Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get a refund if I'm not happy with a purchase?
No, Assouline does not offer refunds for online purchases. Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, but only for an exchange or merchandise credit rather than money back to your original payment method.
Is there a minimum order for free shipping?
Yes, complimentary standard shipping applies to US orders over $200, which matters more here than at most retailers given how heavy and expensive Assouline's oversized coffee-table books are to ship individually.
Is there a discount for signing up for the newsletter?
Yes, new subscribers can typically access around a 15 percent discount on their first order, and staying subscribed afterward keeps you informed of the brand's relatively rare direct promotions and early access to sales.
Does Assouline run its own promo codes often?
Not especially. Assouline discounts directly far less frequently than most luxury retailers, which makes the newsletter welcome offer and seasonal sale events, rather than an ongoing rotation of codes, the more realistic paths to savings.
When does Assouline typically hold sales?
Sale events tend to cluster around major holidays including Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Cyber Monday, with Black Friday historically bringing some of the deeper markdowns across a wide range of titles.
Can I combine a discount code with a free gift promotion?
Assouline has run threshold-based free gift promotions, like a complimentary candle with an order over $500, alongside separate percentage-off codes, though terms vary by promotion, so it's worth checking whether a specific code and a free-gift threshold can apply to the same order.
Is there a referral program?
Referring friends and family to Assouline can sometimes lead to a bonus coupon code if your referral results in an actual purchase, making it worth mentioning to anyone else who collects design or coffee-table books.
