Frequently Asked Questions
Does Campmor offer free shipping?
Standard shipping is free on orders over $49 to the 48 contiguous states, which is a low bar for most outdoor gear purchases. Oversized or overweight items may carry an added fee, but Campmor notifies you for approval before charging it.
What is Campmor's return window?
Most merchandise in new, unused condition can be returned within 90 days of purchase with a receipt, and items need original tags and packaging intact. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to a Campmor error like a defective or incorrectly shipped item.
Can I exchange an item instead of returning it?
No, Campmor no longer processes direct exchanges. If you need a different size or color, the process is to place a new order and return the original item separately under the standard return policy.
Can I try on footwear before deciding to keep it?
Footwear can be tried on indoors only and must show no signs of outdoor wear to qualify for return. It also needs to go back in its original shoe box without shipping labels taped directly to the box.
How long do I have to cancel a Campmor order after placing it?
Cancellation requests need to be made within 30 minutes of placing the order, since Campmor's fulfillment can begin processing shortly after. Past that window, the order typically has to be handled through the standard return process instead.
How does Campmor Rewards work?
Campmor Rewards is a free loyalty program that earns 50 points just for joining, plus 1 point per dollar spent, with extra points available for things like writing reviews or engaging on social media. Members also get double points and a $10 coupon around their birthday.
Are there discounts for military members or seniors?
Yes, Campmor offers a standing discount for verified military members and seniors, confirmed through ID.me at checkout, rather than a limited time promo code. Because it's an ongoing discount, it's usually more dependable than hunting for a seasonal sitewide code.
Does signing up for Campmor's Trailmail newsletter come with a perk?
Subscribing to the Trailmail newsletter adds 25 bonus points to a Campmor Rewards account along with early notice of sale announcements, so it's worth pairing with the rewards program rather than skipping.
