Frequently Asked Questions
Does Cotopaxi have free shipping?
Yes. Orders of $99 or more before tax ship free with economy shipping. The offer doesn't apply to international addresses, U.S. territories, P.O. Boxes, or APO/FPO addresses.
Can I return a Cotopaxi online order in a store?
Yes, for purchases made on cotopaxi.com. Bring your order number or receipt, and you avoid the return shipping fee that mailed returns carry. Pre-loved items bought through Cotopaxi's resale shop can't go back to a store and must be returned online.
How do I get paid for trading in clothes?
You earn credit only when an eligible item actually sells, not when you send it in. Credit is counted over a 45-day window, and the e-gift card can take up to 4 weeks after that to arrive. Payout percentage depends on the brand.
Where do I enter a code at checkout?
Add your items to the cart, then enter the code in the discount code field on the checkout page and apply it before you pay. For gift-with-purchase offers, add the free gift to your cart yourself before checking out.
Can I combine more than one code?
Plan on one offer per order. Cotopaxi's gift-with-purchase terms say the offer can't be combined with other offers or discounts and isn't valid on sale items. Check the terms on each promotion before you pay.
Does the warranty cover pre-loved gear?
Yes. Cotopaxi's Guaranteed for Good policy covers both new gear and pre-loved gear bought through Cotopaxi. If there's a problem, Cotopaxi says it will repair it, replace it, or credit your return.
