Frequently Asked Questions

How much does shipping cost on kerastase-usa.com?

Ground shipping is $8.99, 2-Day is $15.00, and Next Day is $23.00, with orders taking 1 to 4 days to process before they ship. Kérastase Club members get free ground shipping on every order, while non-members get it free on orders of $99 or more.

Can I return an opened Kérastase product?

Kérastase accepts returns within 30 days of purchase with the original receipt, processed only through kerastase-usa.com's own return portal, not through a salon. Engraved items can't be returned, and the shopper is responsible for the return shipping cost.

Is Kérastase Club free to join, and what do I get?

Yes, it costs nothing to join and comes with a 100-point welcome bonus. Members earn 2 points per dollar spent and get free shipping, a birthday gift, and early access to new launches.

Where do I enter a promo code at checkout on kerastase-usa.com?

On the cart page, look for the "Add a promo code" field, enter the code, and click Apply before continuing to checkout.

Can I use more than one promo code on the same order?

No. The checkout only has one promo code field, so a single order can only carry one discount code at a time.

Is there a minimum order size for Auto-Replenishment?

Yes, products under $40 aren't eligible for Auto-Replenishment. Once enrolled, subscriptions save 10% per order and include free shipping.

Does Kérastase ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses?

Yes, but only via USPS Priority Mail with a 10 to 12 business day delivery window, and a handful of aerosol and alcohol-based products can't ship to those addresses at all due to shipping regulations.

Saving Guide

Time Purchases Around Auto-Replenishment Milestones. Since bonus samples land on the 2nd and 4th auto-replenishment shipments specifically, setting up a subscription for a product you already repurchase regularly stacks a 10% ongoing discount with free samples twice a year, on top of the standard free shipping.

Skip the $99 Threshold by Joining Club First. Non-members need to spend $99 to unlock free ground shipping, but Club members get it on every order with no minimum. Joining before checking out, even for a small order, avoids paying the $8.99 ground fee outright.

Let Points Sit Before Redeeming. Since points are worth $1 for every 100 and remain valid for a rolling 12 months, letting smaller purchases accumulate points before redeeming can turn several routine orders into one meaningful discount rather than a marginal one.

Check Last Chance Before a Full-Price Bundle. Before building a custom 15%-off bundle of full-size products, it's worth scanning the Last Chance clearance page first. If the products needed are sitting there at up to 25% off, that markdown alone can beat the bundle discount.

Watch the Return Window on Auto-Ship Items. Auto-Replenishment orders are billed and shipped automatically on a set schedule. Since modifications or cancellations take up to 24 hours to process, adjusting the frequency or pausing a shipment a few days ahead of the next billing date avoids paying for a delivery that's about to become a return.

Shopping Guide

Match Product Lines to Diagnosed Hair Concerns, Not Just Hair Type. Kérastase organizes its catalog by both hair type and specific concern (thinning, over-processed, color-treated, scalp health). Using the online Hair Quiz before buying helps narrow a large catalog down to the line actually suited to a scalp or damage issue, rather than a general "dry hair" or "curly hair" label.

Know Which Products Ship Ground-Only. A number of aerosol and alcohol-based products (hairsprays, dry shampoo, certain oils) are restricted to ground shipping and can't go to Alaska, Hawaii, PO Boxes, or APO/FPO addresses. Checking a product's shipping note before choosing expedited shipping or a military address avoids an order getting split or delayed.

Consider Refill and Travel Sizes for High-Use Products. Bestsellers like the Elixir Ultime oil and several serums are available in refill and travel formats. For a product used daily, buying the refill once the full-size bottle is set up cuts down on packaging cost built into the price of a new full bottle each time.
