Frequently Asked Questions
How does the return process work?
King Kong Apparel provides prepaid return labels for mainland US returns, so you don't have to pay for a return label that would typically cost more out of pocket. A $10 fee per bag is deducted from your refund to cover restocking and reshipping.
Does the $10 fee apply to international returns?
No, the restocking and reshipping fee is specifically for mainland US returns. For returns outside the mainland US, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for their own return shipping instead.
Are there return shipping fees for apparel specifically?
No, there are no return shipping fees for apparel items, so this deduction applies specifically to bags rather than King Kong's clothing line.
Is there a minimum order for free shipping?
Yes, free shipping applies to orders of $99 or more within the US, excluding Canada, with delivery typically taking 4 to 10 days depending on whether you choose expedited shipping.
Is there a discount for first-time customers?
Yes, signing up for the newsletter typically gets new customers $10 off their first order, and King Kong Apparel also runs sitewide sale codes offering 10 to 20 percent off periodically.
Can I combine a promo code with a sale price?
Generally not, most codes exclude sale items, gift cards, taxes, and shipping fees, and typically can't combine with other sitewide offers, so comparing a sale price against a separate code helps determine which saves more.
What does the multi-year guarantee actually cover?
King Kong Apparel bags come with an extended guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship, reflecting the brand's emphasis on toughness and durability designed to handle daily gym use.
