Frequently Asked Questions
Does Nomatic offer free shipping?
Yes, Nomatic covers shipping on orders of $99 or more within the contiguous United States. Orders below that threshold typically carry a shipping charge, so bundling accessories like packing cubes with a bag purchase can help you clear the free shipping line.
How long do I have to return a Nomatic bag?
You have 30 days from your delivery date to start a return or exchange, and returns started after that window close are not accepted. Purchases made in November and December get an extended window running through the following January 31st.
Does Nomatic charge for return shipping?
It depends on whether you added the optional Hassle-Free Returns and Package Protection add-on at checkout. If you opted in, returns are handled through Nomatic's claims process at no extra cost. If you didn't opt in, you're responsible for covering return shipping yourself, though exchanges are free either way.
Are Nomatic bags actually covered by a lifetime warranty?
Yes, Nomatic backs its backpacks, bags, luggage, and accessories with a manufacturer's lifetime warranty against defects that affect the product's main functionality. The warranty applies to the original owner and requires proof of purchase, and it doesn't cover cosmetic wear from normal use.
Can I find Nomatic deals outside of the brand's own site?
Yes, Nomatic partners with Costco Next, where Costco members can often find travel packs and luggage at a lower price than the standard retail listing, and the brand periodically appears in retailers like Crate and Barrel as well.
Does Nomatic run seasonal sales?
Nomatic runs promotions around major shopping periods like Black Friday, when discounts on travel packs and luggage tend to be deepest. Watching for these windows is usually more effective than waiting for a random sitewide code the rest of the year.
What's the difference between a Nomatic Travel Bag and Travel Pack when it comes to sizing rules?
The Travel Pack is designed to fit under an airplane seat, while the larger Travel Bag is not built for that and functions more like an oversized duffel or carry on. This matters for discount shopping since the two aren't interchangeable even when a sale applies to both.
Does Nomatic offer buy now pay later?
Yes, Nomatic supports Buy Now Pay Later options at checkout, letting you split the cost of a bag into installments rather than paying the full price up front.
Can I exchange a Nomatic bag for a different color instead of returning it?
Yes, exchanges for the same product in a different color or size are available, and Nomatic does not charge for exchange shipping. If you want a different product entirely rather than a different color of the same one, you'll need to choose store credit a
