Yes. Orders of $59 or more ship free, and all shipping runs Monday through Friday via USPS within the United States and its outlying territories only, since Leaf & Clay does not ship internationally due to agricultural regulations.
Can I return a plant to Leaf & Clay if I don't like it?
No. Live plants are not eligible for standard returns once shipped, since replanting and reselling live material isn't possible. Non-perishable items like pots, soil and top dressing can be returned unused and unopened within 30 days, though the customer covers return postage.
What happens if my Leaf & Clay plants arrive damaged?
Contact Leaf & Clay within 48 hours of receiving the order with your order number, photos of the damage to both the packaging and the plants, and a photo of the packing slip. Damaged plants are eligible for store credit, not a cash refund, since refunds aren't offered on live plants.
Can I cancel a Leaf & Clay order after placing it?
Generally no. Because plants go through a multi-day process of de-potting, drying, wrapping and boxing before shipment, orders that have already entered this process cannot be cancelled. If the request comes in before that process starts, Leaf & Clay will cancel it on a case-by-case basis.
Do I need a heat pack to order from Leaf & Clay in winter?
If you live somewhere prone to freezing temperatures, yes. Leaf & Clay recommends adding a heat pack to protect plants in transit, though it isn't a guarantee against frost damage, and the company isn't responsible for damage caused by cold weather during shipping.
What if my package is returned to Leaf & Clay due to an incorrect address?
Leaf & Clay isn't responsible for packages sent back by USPS over an incomplete or incorrect address, and there's no refund or store credit for plants damaged during that return-to-sender process. A replacement can be resent once the original package makes it back, but it comes with a new shipping charge and a fee for the damaged plants.
Can I cancel a Plant Mail Club subscription?
Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled or paused anytime by managing your account settings online. Pre-paid 3 or 6 month subscriptions can't be cancelled or refunded partway through, but emailing before the 7th of the month can stop future charges from being billed.
