When is shipping free?
Orders over US$119 shipping to the United States or Canada qualify for free shipping automatically. Below that, shipping is calculated at checkout, and estimated delivery times are shown before you pay.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Processing runs 1 to 3 business days. Estimated shipping is 1 to 15 business days for Canada and the United States and 10 to 30 business days for other countries. Remote and non-continental destinations, including Hawaii, Alaska, US territories, islands and rural addresses, may add another 2 to 5 business days. Pre-order items ship on the date shown on the product page.
What is the return window?
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 15 days of delivery, which is shorter than most apparel brands, so try things on the day the parcel arrives rather than waiting for the trip you bought them for.
Is there a cost to return something?
Yes. A return postage fee of US$10 or CA$13 per package applies to all approved US and Canada returns and exchanges, and the original shipping fee is not refunded. On a single discounted swimsuit, that combination can eat most of the saving, which is the strongest argument for getting sizing right the first time.
Can international customers get a refund?
No. For orders outside Canada and the US, returns are accepted for store credit only, and refunds to the original payment method are not offered. International buyers also cover all return shipping costs and any duties or taxes incurred.
What condition do returned items need to be in?
Original condition, unworn, unwashed and unaltered, with the hygiene seal intact and the care label uncut. Visual Mood reserves the right to issue a partial refund or no refund if those conditions are not met, so leave the hygiene liner in place while trying on and resist trimming the label.
My item arrived damaged or incorrect. What do I do?
Send clear photos or video within 48 hours of delivery. If the evidence is accepted and the issue is confirmed as the brand's responsibility, the return postage fee and original shipping fee are waived and you get a replacement or refund. Without evidence, the return is processed as a standard one and the normal fees apply. That 48 hour window is the tightest deadline in the whole policy.
What happens to a free gift if I return most of my order?
If returns bring your final order value below $50 and the order included complimentary gifts, those gifts must be returned too, in original condition with the care label and hygiene seal intact. If they are not returned or not in that condition, US$68 or CA$88 is deducted from your refund per gift. Worth remembering before you treat a gift with purchase as a keeper.
How long do refunds take to process?
Canada returns are refunded 5 to 7 business days after inspection, US returns 7 to 10 business days. Both clocks start only once the parcel reaches the final processing facility in Canada. US and international returns first go to a third party warehouse in the United States and are forwarded on, so carrier delivery confirmation at that intermediate point does not begin the refund timeline.
Is there a discount for signing up?
Subscribing to the mailing list returns a code for 10% off a first order, along with notice of new releases and promotions. It is the simplest entry point for a first time buyer.
What if I enter the wrong address?
Buyers are responsible for the original shipping cost and the return cost if a package comes back due to an insufficient address, and for packages lost for the same reason. If a parcel is returned because of carrier delay or routing problems rather than anything you did, the brand offers either a reshipment or a full refund including the original shipping fee.
Who pays import duties?
The buyer. Duties, customs charges and taxes are due at or after delivery and vary by country, and the brand has no control over them. Contact your local customs office for rates before ordering from outside North America.
