Frequently Asked Questions
Does Bluum let me pick my own products instead of getting a surprise box?
Yes. Subscribers can choose the choose your own option and select items from that month's available categories, such as food, toys, and books, or skip picking and let Bluum's team choose for them. There is also an option to opt out of the mom or dad item if a subscriber only wants gear for their child.
What discount can I expect on a longer Bluum subscription?
Bluum regularly runs a percentage off promotion for new subscribers who commit to a 6 or 12 month plan rather than paying monthly, and first box discounts of 20 percent or more show up often. These codes are usually restricted to new subscribers and apply once per household.
Can I combine a Bluum promo code with another offer?
No. Bluum coupon codes are generally limited to one per order and will not stack with another active code or with a bundled promotional price. If a code fails at checkout, check whether the cart already includes a discounted bundle.
Is there a fee if I cancel a prepaid multi-month Bluum subscription early?
Monthly plans can be canceled before the next renewal date with no penalty. Multi-month plans that are prepaid, such as 3, 6, or 12 month terms, are billed upfront, and canceling before the term is complete can carry an early cancellation fee, so it is worth checking the terms attached to the specific plan before subscribing.
Do Bluum gift subscriptions renew automatically?
No. A gift subscription runs for the length purchased and then simply ends, unlike a self purchased subscription, which renews until canceled.
How do I earn a free month with Bluum?
Bluum's referral program credits points to a subscriber's account when a friend signs up using their personal link, and enough accumulated points apply automatically toward a free month at the next renewal.
When does my Bluum box ship each month?
Boxes are typically packed and shipped during the same window each month, so subscribers who join partway through a cycle may not see their first box move until the following shipping window. Signing up earlier in the month generally means a faster first delivery.
Does Bluum ship outside the contiguous United States?
Shipping outside the lower 48 states usually carries an added per box fee rather than being included in the base subscription price, so shoppers outside the continental US should check the shipping cost shown at checkout before subscribing.
