Frequently Asked Questions

Can I combine a Castlery coupon code with free shipping?

Promotional codes generally apply only to eligible product costs and don't reduce shipping charges, Room of Choice delivery, White Glove delivery, or Mulberry Extended Warranty fees unless a specific offer explicitly says otherwise.

Why isn't my Castlery promo code working?

Confirm the order meets the code's minimum spend, since several Castlery codes require a total as high as $1,500, and check whether the item is clearance or final sale, both of which are commonly excluded from active codes.

What is Castlery's return policy?

Return requests can be made within 30 days of receiving an item, though a 20% restocking fee is charged per returned item and deducted from the refund. Only items in as-new condition are accepted, and products with scratches, stains, or modifications will not be accepted.

Is there an additional fee if I don't have the original packaging?

Yes, if the original packaging has been discarded, the item still needs to be packaged carefully to avoid transit damage, and a $50 repackaging fee applies if Castlery's original packaging isn't used.

Are all Castlery items eligible for return?

No, clearance, final sale, display, and custom or made-to-order items are not eligible for return under the standard policy.

Does Castlery offer a price protection policy?

Yes, a 14-day price protection policy applies if an item from an order goes on clearance within that period, allowing a request for store credit on the price difference. This excludes limited-time promotions, bundle deals, and other ongoing offers.

Does Castlery offer free shipping?

Yes, free standard shipping is available in select US cities on orders over $1,399, or as low as $999 to $1,199 depending on the specific zip code.

Does Castlery offer a referral program?

Yes, referring a friend gives them $100 off their first purchase with a minimum spend, and the referring account earns 100 store credits once the friend completes that purchase.

Saving Guide

Because Castlery's restocking and repackaging fees can add up quickly on furniture-sized items, ordering swatches and confirming measurements upfront tends to save more than any single promo code.

Ordering free fabric swatches before committing to a sofa or chair

Since a 20% restocking fee applies to any return, which can mean a significant loss on a higher-priced sofa, ordering Castlery's free swatches first to confirm the color and material match a space avoids that cost entirely.

Checking Castlery Renew before buying new

Because Castlery Renew sells open-box and lightly returned furniture at markdowns reaching up to 60% off, checking that section for a specific piece before ordering new, especially if minor cosmetic imperfections aren't a dealbreaker, can produce much deeper savings than a coupon code.

Bundling furniture pieces to reach the free shipping threshold

Since free shipping requires an order as high as $1,399 in some areas, combining a sofa purchase with a coordinating side table or rug, rather than ordering them separately, helps clear that threshold and avoid a costly delivery fee.

Keeping original packaging until fully confident in a purchase

Because a missing original box triggers a $50 repackaging fee on top of the 20% restocking fee, holding onto packaging until a piece has been lived with for a bit protects against that additional cost if a return does become necessary.

Requesting price protection within 14 days if a price drops

Since a 14-day price protection window allows a request for store credit if an item goes on clearance shortly after purchase, checking back on a recent order during a known sales period can recover some value after the fact.

Checklist before checkout

Order free swatches before committing to a color or fabric, check Castlery Renew for a lower-cost version of a specific piece, confirm the order clears the applicable free shipping threshold, and keep original packaging in case a return becomes necessary.
