Frequently Asked Questions

Does Jayson Home let me combine a coupon code with a sale?

No. Jayson Home applies only one discount per order, so a promo code and a sitewide sale price cannot be stacked. If more than one offer would apply, the retailer automatically gives you whichever one saves you more.

Why isn't my Jayson Home promo code working at checkout?

The most common reason is that the code is for one time use or tied to a specific collection, and closeout, custom, and already discounted items are frequently excluded. Codes also need to be entered while signed into an account for welcome offers, so check that you're logged in before assuming the code has expired.

How does the Jayson Home Frequent Flyer Club work?

Referring a friend who spends $150 or more earns you a $50 code toward your next order of $150 or more, and your friend gets the same $50 code after their purchase goes through. Everyday purchases also earn points at a rate of five points per dollar, which stay active for two years and show up automatically at checkout once you're logged in.

What happens to my referral credit if the person I referred returns their order?

The $50 referral credit becomes invalid if the purchase it was tied to gets returned, so it's worth waiting until a referred friend is confident in their order before counting on that credit.

Can I return furniture if I change my mind?

Yes, but the window is short. In stock furniture can be returned in its original condition if you contact Jayson Home within 14 days of delivery, and both the outbound and return shipping charges are non-refundable and get deducted from the credit.

Does Jayson Home accept returns on custom furniture orders?

It does, which is unusual for the industry, but a 25% restocking fee applies on top of non-refundable round trip shipping. Canceling a custom order within three business days of placing it avoids that fee entirely.

Are closeout and clearance items refundable?

Closeout merchandise can be returned within 30 days of delivery, but only for store credit, not a cash refund, and shipping costs are not refunded. This applies to sale items purchased through the closeout section specifically, since regular sale priced items follow the standard return policy for their category.

Is there a minimum order for free shipping?

Jayson Home doesn't run a sitewide free shipping threshold. Pillows and gift cards ship free via UPS ground regardless of order size, but everything else, including furniture sent by threshold or white glove delivery, is priced based on weight, size and destination at checkout.

Does the trade program offer better pricing than a coupon code?

For designers and other trade professionals, yes. The program discounts the first $7,500 in purchases by 10%, then moves to 20% off after that threshold, and it includes free return shipping, savings that generally beat what a standard promo code offers.

How often does Jayson Home release new coupon codes?

New codes tend to show up around seasonal collection launches, the biannual catalog drops each spring and fall, and periodic upholstery and floor model sales, so the available codes shift a few times a year rather than daily.

Saving Guide

Why a furniture retailer's coupons need a closer look:

Jayson Home sells items at very different price points, from a $30 pillow to a custom sofa, so the value of a coupon code swings a lot depending on what's in the cart, and a few of its policies (custom returns, closeout store credit) are worth understanding before checkout rather than after.

Stacking discounts and where it breaks down:

Only one discount code or sale price applies per order at Jayson Home. When a shopper qualifies for more than one, such as a welcome code and a seasonal sale, the system keeps whichever discount is larger rather than adding them together. That means it's rarely worth waiting for a second code to combine with one already in hand.

Working around the seasonal calendar:

Two catalogs a year, spring and fall, tend to line up with new collection pushes and any related promotions. Beyond that, Jayson Home runs periodic upholstery sales and floor model sales that discount specific categories rather than the whole site, so checking the homepage banner before a big furniture purchase can turn up a better rate than a generic code.

Getting the most from the closeout section:

The closeout collection cuts prices on furniture, lighting, rugs, accessories and vintage pieces, sometimes steeply, since these are items the company wants off the floor to make room for new stock. The tradeoff is the return policy: closeout purchases only qualify for store credit within 30 days, not a refund to the original payment method, so it's worth being confident about fit and finish before buying.

Making custom orders less risky:

Custom furniture at Jayson Home can be returned, which many competitors don't allow, but a 25% restocking fee applies along with non-refundable round trip shipping. Canceling within three business days of placing a custom order sidesteps the restocking fee completely, so it pays to finalize fabric and dimension choices before submitting rather than after.

Getting value from the referral and points program:

The Frequent Flyer Club rewards both sides of a referral, $50 in credit to the referrer and $50 to the new customer, once the referred purchase clears $150 and isn't returned. Regular purchases also build points at five per dollar spent, good for two years, which stack up naturally for anyone furnishing a home over multiple orders.

Reading the shipping cost before checkout:

There's no sitewide free shipping minimum. Pillows and gift cards always ship free, but larger pieces move through threshold or white glove delivery, priced by weight and destination, so it's worth checking that line item before assuming a coupon code alone determines the final total.

Checklist before you check out:

Confirm you're logged into your account so any welcome or referral code applies correctly, compare the discount code against the current sale price to see which one Jayson Home will actually apply, and double check whether the item you want falls under the 14 day furniture window, the 30 day standard window, or the final sale categories like books, candles, plants and bath products before assuming it's returnable.

About Jayson Home

Jayson Home has outfitted Chicago living rooms and dining tables with a mix of new furniture, vintage finds, lighting, rugs and home accessories since its early days as a single storefront on Clybourn Avenue. The catalog leans into pieces that don't look mass produced, hand knotted rugs, one of a kind vintage seating, and collaborations with names like John Derian and Astier de Villatte sitting next to in house upholstery. Shoppers can find current Jayson Home coupon codes and discounts on this page, useful for trimming the cost of a piece that's otherwise a full price investment.
