Frequently Asked Questions
How long do I have to return a GTHIC order?
Sixty days from delivery, based on the tracking information from your shipment. Items need to be unopened or in good condition with the original packaging to qualify.
Can I return a made to order piece from GTHIC?
No. Made to order items can't be returned or exchanged at all, and canceling one more than 24 hours after placing it triggers a 30 percent material fee.
Who pays for return shipping at GTHIC?
The customer does, for both the return shipping and the fee to resend a replacement, unless the item arrived damaged, defective or incorrect.
How much do I need to spend to get free shipping from GTHIC?
It depends on your location. US customers get free standard shipping on orders over $99, or free USPS shipping over $69.99, while international thresholds vary by country and are usually somewhere between $59.99 and $69.99.
Do I need to contact GTHIC before sending an item back?
Yes. GTHIC asks customers to email support first with the order number and reason for the return, and any item sent back without that authorization won't be accepted.
Can I combine multiple coupon codes on one GTHIC order?
No. Only one coupon code can be applied per order, so it's worth comparing which available code gives the bigger discount before checking out.
How long does GTHIC take to ship an order?
It depends on the item's status. In stock items typically ship within two business days, while made to order pieces need seven to fifteen working days of crafting time before they ship.
Does GTHIC charge customs duties on international orders?
Generally no. GTHIC states that customs duties usually aren't required, since shipments are marked with a low declared value to help customers avoid them.
Does GTHIC offer a discount for signing up to its newsletter?
Yes, subscribing to both email and text typically unlocks an introductory discount code, with a larger discount often available specifically for stainless steel items.
