Frequently Asked Questions
How long do I have to return a Harney & Sons order?
You have up to 30 days from the date of delivery to return an item. Refunds go back to your original payment method for unopened products, but if you've already opened a tea, Harney & Sons issues store credit instead of a cash refund.
Do I have to pay for return shipping?
In most cases yes, since Harney & Sons doesn't provide prepaid return labels unless the issue is a qualified quality control problem that the company determines on its end. Non-food items need to be unused and in their original packaging to qualify for a refund.
Is there a minimum order for free shipping?
Yes, Harney & Sons offers free ground shipping within the United States on orders of at least $49 to $59 depending on the current promotion, so it's worth checking your cart total against the active threshold before checking out
Can I combine a promo code with my rewards points?
No. Promotional discounts cannot be combined with loyalty rewards discounts, and discounts generally cannot be applied to gift cards unless a promotion specifically says otherwise, so you'll want to choose one or the other on a given order.
Does Harney & Sons offer a military discount?
Yes, active duty service members, veterans, and retirees can access a standing discount, commonly around 20 percent off, through the brand's military and veteran discount program.
What if my package arrives damaged or defective?
Email customer service with your order number and photos of the issue, and Harney & Sons will work out next steps from there rather than requiring you to go through the standard return process for a quality problem
How does the Harney Rewards program work?
Signing up for Harney Rewards lets you earn points on purchases that can later be redeemed for discounts, along with perks like a birthday reward and other member-exclusive offers, though remember points-based rewards can't be stacked with a separate promo code on the same order.
