Frequently Asked Questions
Does Art of Tea have a loyalty program?
Yes, it's called LoyalTEA. Members earn 1 point per dollar spent, with every 100 points worth $5 off a future order, and spending or referral thresholds move you up to Enthusiast or Master tier where you earn 1.25 or 1.5 points per dollar instead.
Do LoyalTEA points expire?
Yes, points expire one year after they're earned, so it's worth redeeming them periodically rather than letting a large balance sit unused.
Can I stack LoyalTEA points with a promo code?
No. Art of Tea's checkout only allows one discount per order, so you'll need to choose between applying your points or using a promo code, whichever gives you the better price on that particular order.
Why isn't my Art of Tea promo code working?
The most likely reasons are that a newer code you entered replaced an earlier one you'd applied, or that the code excludes certain items like the Fellow Kettle, Halo Matcha, Tea of the Month subscriptions, or gift cards. Codes also can't be combined with each other, so only the most recent one you enter will count.
What is Art of Tea's return policy?
You have 30 days from the delivery date to contact Art of Tea about a return, and approved returns are issued as store credit for the purchase price, minus original shipping, rather than a refund to your card. Orders are subject to a restocking fee of 20% or more depending on the circumstances.
Can I return a 4oz pouch of tea if I don't like the flavor?
Yes, but it's a one-time courtesy per customer rather than a standing return policy. If you buy a 4oz pouch and don't enjoy the blend, contacting customer service gets you store credit for the item's price, excluding shipping. This doesn't apply to 1lb pouches, iced tea pouches, artisan tins, or pyramid sachets.
Does Art of Tea offer free shipping?
Yes, orders of $60 or more ship free. Below that, standard shipping is calculated based on order weight.
How does Art of Tea's referral program work?
Referring a friend gets them a discount on their first purchase, and once they complete an order of at least a set minimum, you earn LoyalTEA points that can be redeemed for a coupon. As of a program update, referral rewards come to you as points rather than as an instant code.
Does Art of Tea have a birthday reward?
Yes, LoyalTEA members can earn bonus points around their birthday, which is an easy way to pad your points balance toward the next redemption tier without buying anything extra.
How often does Art of Tea release new discount codes?
Art of Tea has kept a consistent storewide discount available most months, with bigger promotional codes showing up around events like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, when discounts get layered with LoyalTEA and app-only perks. The code lineup on this page updates as those seasonal promotions change.
