Frequently Asked Questions

Can a TeaVivre coupon be applied to an order that includes free samples?

Yes, up to 8 free samples come included with every order regardless of size, and a promotional code applied to the paid portion of the order doesn't affect that sample allowance.

What is TeaVivre's return window?

Items can be returned within 15 days if not completely satisfied, for either a refund or an exchange, as long as the product is unopened and in its original condition and packaging.

Are shipping charges refunded on a TeaVivre return?

No, shipping charges are non-refundable for a product that was delivered in good condition and is then exchanged or refunded for reasons other than damage.

What happens if my TeaVivre order arrives damaged?

If there's damage during shipping, a refund or replacement can be requested, separate from the standard 15-day satisfaction return.

Is shipping free at TeaVivre?

Free shipping applies to orders above $40 to most countries.

How long does a TeaVivre order take to arrive?

Shipping to the US, UK, Australia, and Canada typically takes 6 to 10 days, since orders ship directly from China.

Will I owe import duties on a TeaVivre order?

Possibly, depending on the destination country. TeaVivre doesn't add hidden charges to the order itself, but some countries may require the recipient to pay import duties or taxes as assessed by their own government.

What should I do if my TeaVivre order shows as delivered but never arrived?

Contact TeaVivre by email or live support, since this is described as rare, and they'll follow up with the shipping company to investigate what happened.

Saving Guide

Because TeaVivre ships internationally from China and the return window is shorter than many domestic retailers offer, understanding both details before ordering matters here.

Trying the free samples before committing to a full order

Since up to 8 free samples come with every order, using those to test a new tea style or region before placing a larger follow-up order for a favorite is a low-risk way to explore the catalog without overcommitting to something untested.

Deciding within the 15-day window

Because the return period is shorter than the 30-day standard many retailers offer, opening and trying a new tea relatively soon after it arrives, rather than letting it sit, keeps the option for a refund or exchange available if it's not the right fit.

Clearing the $40 free shipping mark

Since many teas are sold in smaller quantities, combining a couple of varieties into one order that reaches $40 is generally more efficient than ordering them separately and paying shipping twice.

Budgeting for potential import duties

Given that some countries may charge import duties on a shipment from China, factoring in that possible added cost before ordering helps avoid an unexpected charge on delivery, particularly for a larger order.

Reporting shipping damage separately from a standard return

Since damage during transit is handled differently from a simple change-of-mind return, and doesn't carry the same non-refundable shipping cost, documenting and reporting any damage as soon as it's noticed protects that separate resolution path.

Before you check out

Use the included free samples to explore new varieties before a bigger order, decide on a purchase within the 15-day window, and check whether your order clears $40 for free shipping.
