Frequently Asked Questions
Does Schutz offer a discount for signing up for their newsletter?
Yes, joining the Schutz newsletter typically gets you 20 percent off your first order, while downloading and making your first purchase through the Schutz app can unlock an even higher 25 percent discount. Comparing both options before your first order is worth doing since the app offer is generally the larger of the two.
Is there a minimum order for free shipping at Schutz?
Schutz offers free shipping on orders over $97, and since most shoes start around $118, a single pair purchase typically clears that threshold on its own. Higher tier loyalty members get free shipping with no minimum order requirement at all.
How does the Schutz Rewards loyalty program work?
Schutz Rewards lets you earn 5 points per dollar spent, plus bonus points for actions like account creation, and you can work your way up through four reward tiers to unlock up to $100 off over time. Higher tiers also come with perks like completely free returns.
What is Schutz's return policy, and does it cost anything?
Full-priced items can be returned within 90 days for an exchange or refund, though a $6.99 processing fee generally applies to standard refunds. Top tier loyalty members get completely free returns, and sale items follow different return rules depending on their discount level.
Does Schutz offer a student discount?
Yes, students can get a 20 percent discount by verifying their status through Student Beans. This is a separate savings path from the standard newsletter offer and can be combined with other qualifying discounts depending on current terms.
Can I combine a Schutz promo code with a sitewide sale?
Generally no, most Schutz promo codes cannot be combined with other promo codes or sitewide offers, and typically exclude sale items, gift cards, taxes, and shipping fees. Compare an active sale against your specific code to see which gives you the better price.
Does Schutz have a clearance or sale section?
Yes, the Sale section regularly marks items down 40 to 70 percent off, including sandals, boots, platforms, and pumps, with some clearance events reaching up to 65 percent off. Check this section before applying a percentage-off code to a full-price item, since the sale price can sometimes beat the code.
Does Schutz offer a referral discount?
No, Schutz does not currently have a refer-a-friend program, so your main savings paths are the newsletter or app discount, the loyalty program, student verification, and seasonal sale events.
