Can I return a ShelterLogic order if it doesn't work for my space?
Yes, within 30 days of purchase, as long as the item is still in its original packaging, unused, and in sellable condition. You'll need to call or email customer service first to get a Return Authorization number before sending anything back, since returns without one aren't accepted.
Are all ShelterLogic products eligible for return?
No. Custom built items like ShelterTech buildings, ShelterTech High Tunnel Greenhouses, AccelaFrame structures, and ShelterCoat covers are made to order based on your specifications and can't be returned or cancelled once the order is placed.
Does ShelterLogic offer free shipping?
Only on items marked with a "Free Shipping" badge on the product page, so it's not a sitewide policy. Free shipping also doesn't extend to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, or several Canadian territories including Yukon and Nunavut.
Why might my ShelterLogic coupon code not apply to my order?
ShelterLogic's manufacturer coupons commonly exclude made to order items, heavy or ultra duty covers and buildings, STEELPEAK products, and ShelterTube shelters, and are often limited to one use on a customer's first direct purchase. If your cart includes an excluded category, the discount won't come off that portion of the order.
What if a part is missing from my shelter kit?
ShelterLogic will send the missing part at no charge if you report it within 30 days of purchase. After that window, you're responsible for the cost of the part and its shipping, so it's worth inventorying your kit against the included parts list as soon as it arrives.
Can I cancel my order after placing it?
Only if it hasn't shipped yet or left one of ShelterLogic's warehouses. Once it's in transit, cancellation isn't an option, and custom buildings and covers can't be cancelled at any point since they're built to order.
How long does shipping take?
Most in stock orders ship from the warehouse within 1 to 3 days. If your order requires manufacturing, plan for roughly a week of production time before it even ships, and note that some large orders arrive in multiple boxes from different warehouses.
Does ShelterLogic run seasonal sales?
Yes, promotions like a Labor Day sale have run in the past, so checking in around major sale weekends is worth it if your purchase timing is flexible.
