Frequently Asked Questions

Does Velvet Eyewear have a buy one get one offer?

The storefront and cart currently advertise a second pair at 50% off and a third pair free, applied automatically in the cart. The offer excludes prescription (RX) items. Promotions like this rotate, so confirm the banner is still live before planning an order around it.

Does Velvet Eyewear charge for shipping?

Standard ground shipping to US addresses is free with every order and has no minimum, sent by USPS or UPS. A faster service can be chosen at checkout for an added charge. Packages do not require a signature, and Velvet is not responsible for missing or stolen packages, so a secure delivery spot matters.

When does a Velvet Eyewear order ship?

Orders placed before 11 AM Eastern Monday through Thursday ship the same day or the next. Friday orders placed before noon Eastern may ship the same day, and later ones go out Monday. All orders are reviewed for consumer protection, which can add a slight delay.

How does the Velvet Eyewear Love it or Return it guarantee work?

Any purchase made on velveteyewear.com can be sent back within 30 days of delivery for a refund or an exchange. The glasses must be unworn and returned with the case and cloth in the original packaging. The customer pays return shipping, and refunds are processed within 3 to 5 business days after Velvet receives the package.

Can I return Velvet Eyewear bought at Nordstrom or another retailer to Velvet directly?

No. Velvet does not accept returns on products that were not purchased on its own website, so purchases through retail partners follow that retailer's return rules.

How much do Velvet prescription glasses cost?

Optical frames start at $99, with lens choices listed on each product page as frames only, single vision, progressive, reading or blue light blocking with no prescription. The from price covers the base option, so choose a lens type to see the final figure.

What warranty comes with Velvet Eyewear?

Every product carries a one year warranty from the purchase date against manufacturing, design and material defects. Defects should be reported within 2 months of noticing them, and scratches or improper use are not covered. Repairs cost nothing, and Velvet asks for a photo sent to customer service before you mail anything in.

Does Velvet Eyewear have a rewards program?

Velvet Rewards awards points for shopping, writing reviews, referring friends and other activities. Points can be redeemed for discounts on sunglasses and optical frames, and the program page lists the current earning and redemption details, which are worth checking for expiry terms before saving up.

How often does Velvet Eyewear release new deals and coupons?

The store organizes launches by season, and the current Fall Edit collection shows how offers change from one season to the next. Select Style Boxes are also marked down from $149 to $99 right now, so the code lineup here rotates as collections and markdowns turn over.

Saving Guide

Pricing that works on several levels

Velvet Eyewear pricing works on several levels at once: automatic pair discounts, boxes of three frames, a rewards program and a return window with free shipping on the way out. Knowing how those interact matters more than hunting for a single code.

Building a cart around the pair discounts

The second pair at 50% off and third pair free are applied in the cart without a code. Put the pairs you would buy anyway, including gifts, into one order and check which line item receives the discount. Then test a code in the field, because it is not stated whether a code stacks with the automatic pricing, and read the total before paying.

Style Boxes versus single pairs

Style Boxes hold three frames selected for a face shape or a style, and select boxes are listed at $99 against a $149 list price. That works out to about $33 a pair at $99 and about $50 a pair at $149, compared with $89 shown for single polarized styles. A box pays off when all three frames suit you, and a set where you would only wear one costs more per pair you actually use.

Rewards points

Points come from shopping, reviews and referrals, so joining the rewards program before a first order keeps that purchase from going uncounted. Since points can be redeemed on sunglasses and optical frames, they are best spent on a pair you already planned to buy.

Getting the fit right the first time

Return postage is on the customer, so fit is a savings issue as much as a style one. The face shape guide and the seasonal color guide on the site narrow down frames before you order.

Before you check out

  • Confirm the pair discount is live and see which pair it discounts.

  • Test any code and compare totals.

  • Compare Style Box price per pair against single pairs.

  • Join rewards before ordering.

  • Use the face shape guide to cut down return risk.
