Frequently Asked Questions
What is ATN's return policy?
ATN accepts returns within 10 days of receiving the merchandise, but a Return Authorization number is required before shipping anything back, along with a copy of the original invoice. Shipping, handling, and C.O.D. charges are not refundable, and the customer covers return shipping and insurance.
Does ATN charge a restocking fee?
Yes, potentially. If an item is returned past the 10 day window without prior authorization, arrives damaged or visibly used, or is missing its manual or accessories, ATN can charge a 15% restocking fee or refuse the return entirely.
How long is the ATN warranty?
Coverage varies by product type. Digital night vision products carry a 2 year warranty, thermal optics carry 3 years, laser rangefinders and ballistic laser modules carry 2 years, and accessories like power packs and lights carry 1 year. On traditional night vision devices, the image intensifier tube itself is separately warrantied against manufacturer defects for 2 years.
Does ATN offer a trade in program?
Yes. ATN's upgrade program lets customers put an eligible existing device toward credit, up to $260 depending on the model, against the purchase of a new unit.
Are ATN's factory refurbished optics still covered by warranty?
Yes. Refurbished scopes and binoculars are tested, certified, and sold with warranty coverage intact, which is part of why the refurbished program is one of the more reliable ways to save on ATN gear rather than a gamble on unsupported used equipment.
Can special order or clearance ATN products be returned?
No. ATN's policy specifically excludes special orders, closeout items, and anything sold as is from the standard return process
Why might an ATN promo code not apply at checkout?
Discounts advertised for a specific optic line, like ThOR series scopes, generally do not apply to other categories such as accessories or refurbished units, so the code needs to match the collection it was listed under.
Does ATN offer free shipping?
ATN commonly includes free ground shipping as part of its standard checkout, though this can vary by promotion and destination, so it is worth confirming at checkout before assuming it applies.
