Frequently Asked Questions
What is Boohoo's return policy?
Items can be returned within 28 days of receipt as long as they're unworn, unwashed, and have original tags attached. A returns charge of $14.99 per parcel is deducted from the refund amount.
How can I avoid the return fee?
Choosing store credit instead of a refund to the original payment method gets 20% extra added to the refund value, and speeds up processing. That 20% bonus doesn't apply if the original purchase itself was made with store credit or a gift card.
Does Boohoo offer exchanges?
No, Boohoo doesn't offer an exchange facility. An unwanted item needs to be returned for a refund, and a new order placed separately for a different size or style.
What items can't be returned?
Items like pierced jewelry, cosmetics with broken seals, face masks, and swimwear or lingerie with the hygiene seal removed can't be returned. This is standard across most fast-fashion retailers for hygiene reasons.
Can I combine a promo code with other offers?
No, only one promo code can be used per transaction, and it can't be combined with any other promotion or offer. Comparing available codes and picking the single best one before checkout is the only way to maximize a discount.
Does Boohoo adjust the price if an item goes on sale after I buy it?
No, Boohoo does not offer price adjustments for items that later go on sale. Since the standard return window is 28 days, returning and repurchasing at the lower price is the only workaround if a sale follows shortly after a purchase.
How does the referral program work?
Referring a friend who makes their first purchase gets both people a discount, typically 25% off. The referee's code expires after seven days, while the referrer's reward stays valid for about three months, and neither combines with other codes or promotions.
How long does a Boohoo refund take?
Refund processing can take up to 14 days once the returned parcel is received, plus additional time for the refund to reflect in a bank account, for a total that can run close to 21 days. Choosing store credit instead of a cash refund tends to process faster.
