Frequently Asked Questions
Does Save Trees offer a discount on the first order?
Yes, new customers can typically find a percentage off code for their first subscription order, often in the 15 to 20 percent range depending on the current promotion. These first order codes are usually one time use and won't apply again once you've placed your initial order.
Can I use a discount code on top of a subscription discount?
No, Save Trees applies only the highest valid discount to an order rather than letting a promo code stack with the built in subscription savings. If you already get a subscriber discount, compare it against any code you have before assuming the code will add extra savings.
Does Save Trees offer free shipping?
Orders over $50 ship free, while orders below that threshold carry a flat shipping fee. Shipping is currently limited to the continental United States, so Alaska and Hawaii orders aren't eligible.
What is Save Trees' return policy?
Save Trees does not accept returns. If your box arrives damaged and the rolls are unusable, the company will ship a replacement if you send photos of the damage, but there's no general return process for products you simply don't want.
Can I cancel my Save Trees subscription anytime?
Yes, subscriptions can be canceled at any point by logging into your account or emailing customer service, with no lock in period or cancellation fee. If your box has already shipped, the company can adjust your next shipment frequency instead of refunding that particular order.
How is Save Trees toilet paper different from regular tree based brands?
Bamboo grows several feet a day and reaches harvest maturity in about three years without needing to be replanted, unlike old growth trees that take decades to regrow. That faster growth cycle is the main reason bamboo based paper is marketed as the more sustainable option.
Is Save Trees toilet paper septic safe?
Yes, the company states its bamboo paper breaks down at a similar rate to leading tree based brands and is generally safe for septic systems, though it recommends checking with your system's manufacturer if you have a particularly sensitive setup.
How often does Save Trees release new discount codes?
New codes tend to appear around seasonal moments like Earth Month, summer holidays, and Black Friday rather than on a constant weekly basis. Checking this page around those times tends to turn up the better discounts.
Does Save Trees ship internationally?
No, shipping is currently limited to the continental United States only.
