Frequently Asked Questions
Can a ComboInk coupon be combined with a Build a Combo bundle?
Build a Combo pricing already decreases as more cartridges are added to a bundle, and it's worth checking whether a separate promotional code applies on top of that bundle pricing or only to individually priced items.
What is ComboInk's fastest return option?
Orders placed with the standard $3.99 shipping option can be returned free within 10 days of carrier delivery for a full refund.
What if I need to return a ComboInk order after 10 days?
Non-defective, unopened cartridges can still be returned within 365 days of the order, either for store credit with no fee or a refund that carries a 15% restocking fee.
How long is ComboInk's warranty on defective cartridges?
Defective cartridges are covered for a full 365 days from the order date, one of the more generous defect warranty windows in the compatible cartridge industry.
Do I need authorization before returning a ComboInk order?
Yes, a Return Authorization Number is required before shipping anything back, obtained by contacting customer service first. Returns sent without one are refused.
How long do I have to complete a return once it's set up?
The actual return shipment needs to arrive within 30 days of when the return was initiated, or it may be refused or subject to the 15% restocking fee regardless of which return type was originally selected.
Will using ComboInk cartridges void my printer's warranty?
No, using a compatible or remanufactured cartridge doesn't void a printer's warranty under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, despite some printer manufacturers suggesting otherwise.
Is shipping free at ComboInk?
Free 2-day shipping is available on orders of $50 or more for discount ink cartridges from major brands.
