Frequently Asked Questions

Does Enjoy The Wood offer free shipping?

UK orders over a set threshold have qualified for free delivery, while U.S. orders have generally carried a flat shipping rate with delivery in about one to four business days. International shipping outside these regions can take longer, so it's worth checking the current estimate for your specific location at checkout.

What is Enjoy The Wood's return policy?

Returns and exchanges are generally accepted within 30 days of purchase, after which the company is unable to offer a refund or exchange. Since each map is handcrafted, it is worth confirming the specific return terms for a customized piece before ordering.

Can I customize a wooden map before ordering?

Yes, most maps allow you to choose the size, wood finish, and color, and some designs support add ons like travel pins for marking visited locations. Because these choices are locked in before the piece is cut, double checking selections before submitting the order matters more than it would for a stock item.

Is there a discount for signing up for the newsletter?

Yes, subscribing as a new customer has unlocked a percentage off a first purchase, which has in some cases been combined with an active sitewide promotion for additional savings.

Do Enjoy The Wood discount codes apply to sale items?

Not always. Some codes exclude items already marked down, gift cards, taxes, and shipping fees, so checking a code's stated exclusions before applying it to a discounted map avoids a checkout surprise.

When does Enjoy The Wood offer the deepest discounts?

December has historically featured the steepest sitewide discounts of the year, which makes it a strong window for buying a higher priced map as a holiday gift.

Do Enjoy The Wood maps come with a guarantee?

Yes, the company has offered a guarantee on its map products in addition to the standard return window, covering issues with the piece itself beyond simple change of mind returns.

How long does an Enjoy The Wood order take to arrive?

U.S. orders have typically taken one to four business days once shipped, while international orders can take longer depending on customs processing in the destination country.

Saving Guide

Why customization choices deserve a second look before ordering

Because each map is laser cut to the size, finish, and color selected at checkout, confirming those choices carefully before submitting an order matters more here than with an off the shelf product, since a change of mind after cutting begins may fall outside the standard return window.

Timing a purchase for December's deeper discounts

Since December has historically brought the year's steepest sitewide discounts, planning ahead for a holiday gift or a personal purchase around that window tends to beat buying at full price earlier in the year.

Stacking a newsletter code with an active sale

New subscriber discounts have in some cases combined with a running sitewide promotion, so it is worth testing whether a welcome code layers on top of a current sale rather than assuming only one can apply.

Watching for sale exclusions on discount codes

Because some codes exclude already discounted items, gift cards, and shipping fees, checking those exclusions before adding a marked down map to the cart avoids discovering at checkout that the code will not apply.

Confirming shipping costs for your region early

Since shipping terms differ meaningfully between UK, U.S., and international orders, checking the current rate and estimated delivery window for your specific address before finalizing customization choices helps avoid a late surprise on total cost, especially around the holidays when delivery windows tighten.

Checklist before checkout

Double check every customization choice since the piece is cut to your specification, confirm whether your discount code excludes sale items before applying it, check current shipping costs and timelines for your region, and note the 30 day return window in case the piece needs to go back.
