Frequently Asked Questions
Does Homesick ever put its candles on sale?
Yes. Homesick runs seasonal sales such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday, when discounts can reach up to 40% off, along with a rotating Last Chance clearance section offering up to 50% off discontinued scents. Sale items are marked final sale, so they can't be returned or exchanged.
Can I combine a Homesick promo code with a sale?
Coupon codes generally apply to full priced items rather than stacking with clearance or Last Chance pricing. Check the code's terms at checkout, since sale pricing and code discounts are usually treated as separate offers rather than combinable ones.
Why isn't my Homesick promo code working?
The most common reason is that the code only applies to full priced candles, not sale or Last Chance items. Codes can also be tied to a specific collection, like a licensed line such as Harry Potter or DC, so double check the fine print before assuming it's a glitch.
What is Homesick's return policy?
Full priced candles can be returned or exchanged within 14 days of purchase if they're unlit and still in their original packaging. Sale items are final sale, apparel isn't eligible for return outside of a defect, and items like lip balm, oil, honey, gift baskets, soap, and cutting boards can't be returned at all for health and safety reasons.
Does Homesick offer free shipping?
Yes, orders of $50 or more within the contiguous U.S. ship free. Since most candles sit around $30 to $35, adding a second item is usually enough to clear that threshold.
Is there a Homesick loyalty or rewards program?
No, Homesick doesn't currently run a points based loyalty program. The main ways to save are the newsletter signup discount, referral credits, and seasonal sales, so it's worth signing up for emails if you shop there more than once.
Does Homesick have a referral program?
Yes. When you refer a friend, they get a discount on their first purchase and you earn a discount on your next order once they buy. It's one of the more reliable ways to stack savings if you already have friends who like the brand.
Are there student or military discounts at Homesick?
No, Homesick doesn't currently offer standing student or military discounts. First time buyers can sometimes get a small discount by contacting customer service directly, which is worth trying if you don't have a code on hand.
How often does Homesick release new discount codes?
New codes tend to show up around email signups, abandoned cart follow ups, and seasonal moments like holidays or new collaboration launches. Because the collection changes often with new licensed collections, the code lineup on this page changes right along with it.
