Frequently Asked Questions
How much do I need to spend for free shipping?
Orders of $99 or more ship free via FedEx Home Delivery. Orders under $99 ship for a flat $5.80, and expedited options are available for $30 with FedEx 2 Day or $50 with FedEx Standard Overnight, which doesn't include Saturday delivery.
How long does an order take to arrive?
Orders are processed within 3 to 4 business days, then generally arrive within 5 to 7 business days after they ship via FedEx Ground.
Does Moral Code ship internationally or to PO Boxes?
No to both. Moral Code currently ships only within the United States and can't deliver to PO Box addresses.
What is Moral Code's return policy?
Unworn shoes in their original packaging, with no scuffs, scratches, or flexing in the toe box, can be returned within 30 days of the original purchase date. Return shipping is always free, and a customized return label is provided through the online return center.
How long does a refund take once I return something?
Once the returned item arrives and is inspected at the warehouse and meets the return criteria, the refund is issued to the original payment method within 7 business days.
Can I exchange a pair of shoes instead of returning them?
Yes, within 30 days of the purchase date, though exchanges are limited to the same shoe style. Swapping the size or color is fine, but exchanging for a different model isn't part of the standard exchange process.
What happens if I received a free gift with my purchase and want to return the shoes?
If the gifted item is included with the return, a full refund is issued. If it isn't included, the refund is reduced to account for the retail price of the gift.
Can I use more than one promo code on an order?
No. Moral Code only allows one promo code per order, so it's worth comparing any available codes and using whichever saves more before checking out.
What does the True Fit tool do?
It's an online sizing tool meant to help narrow down the right size before ordering, which matters more for handmade leather shoes than typical footwear since sizing can run differently across styles.
