Does Aveda offer free shipping?
Standard shipping is free on orders of $55 or more. Aveda Plus Rewards members also get free standard shipping on every order, regardless of the order total.
What is Aveda's return policy?
Products purchased from Aveda.com can be returned within 30 days of the delivery date, in new or gently used condition. Returns received after 30 days aren't guaranteed a refund and are handled at Aveda's discretion, sometimes as an electronic gift card instead of a refund to the original payment method.
How does the Aveda Plus Rewards program work?
Members earn 10 points for every dollar spent on products, redeemable for Aveda products, salon and spa services, or other rewards. Joining costs a one time $10 enrollment fee, and members also get double points on their birthday and on their very first purchase.
Can I exchange a product instead of returning it?
Aveda doesn't process direct exchanges. Instead, the original item is returned for a refund, and a new order is placed separately for the replacement product.
Is there a discount for setting up recurring orders?
Auto-replenishment orders get 15% off the first shipment and 10% off every order after that, plus free shipping on the recurring schedule. The discount doesn't apply to shipping and handling fees or sales tax.
What happens to my rewards points if I return a purchase?
If a product was bought using an immediate discount reward, the points are credited back to the account and the purchase price is refunded to the original payment method.
Does Aveda ship outside the United States?
Aveda.com currently only ships within the United States, including select US territories and certain APO, FPO, and DPO addresses. International shoppers can use Aveda's store locator to find nearby Aveda counters instead.
Can I return a product bought at an Aveda salon to Aveda.com?
No. Aveda.com only accepts returns for products purchased directly through Aveda.com, so salon purchases need to go back through the salon or spa where they were bought.
How long does standard shipping take?
Standard orders are typically processed within 1 to 2 business days and delivered within 5 to 7 business days after that. PO Boxes and freight forwarders can take 6 to 14 business days.
