Frequently Asked Questions

How much does BackJoy charge for shipping in the US?

Free ground shipping applies to orders over $120 in the continental US, and orders under $90 pay a $6.99 flat rate. The banner also advertises 40% off shipping for orders above $90, and standard delivery takes 2 to 7 business days.

What does a BackJoy return cost?

Returns must be started within 30 days of purchase, and the customer pays a flat $7.99 for the return label in the US. BackJoy covers the remaining postage and handling, and refunds go to the original payment method.

Can I return a BackJoy sleep product?

Once used, sleep products are not returnable for a full refund. A used but unstained and undamaged one can go back with a $9.99 refurbishment fee on top of the $7.99 label.

Will returning one item cost me my free shipping?

If a return drops the order value below the threshold for a free or discounted shipping offer, the shipping value is deducted from the refund. That matters most on orders that just reached the free shipping line.

Which BackJoy items are final sale?

A small number of heavily discounted items may be marked final sale, and those are not eligible for refund, exchange, or store credit. The label appears on the product page.

What if my BackJoy order arrives damaged?

Send a photo and description within 2 days of delivery. BackJoy will send a free return label or give discard instructions, and you can request a refund or a replacement.

Does BackJoy cover defects after the return window?

The warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials and does not cover misuse. BackJoy repairs or replaces qualifying items and issues a customer paid return label after you call.

Does BackJoy ship to Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico?

Yes. Non-continental US orders pay a minimum shipping and processing fee of $19.99, and the free shipping offer is limited to the continental US.

How often does BackJoy release new deals and coupons?

The site has advertised a Labor Day discount code for US and Canada, and coupon trackers list seasonal sales near Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Black Friday. Bundle offers appear on the homepage banner and show the savings on the product page.

Saving Guide

BackJoy writes its shipping and return rules around order value, which makes cart size the biggest lever.

Aim the cart at the shipping lines

Under $90 you pay $6.99, above $90 a 40% shipping discount applies, and at $120 shipping is free. Check where your cart sits before adding a small accessory that might remove the fee.

Know what a return does to free shipping

If you might send one item back from a larger order, remember that the shipping value can come off the refund. Plan the return along with the purchase, and keep the $7.99 label in mind.

Buy sleep products only when you are sure

Used sleep products lose full refund eligibility, and even a clean one costs $9.99 plus the label to return. Try seats first if you want a low risk test.

Use the pop-up and bundles

Coupon trackers report a 10% code delivered by a pop-up while you browse, with no signup required. Bundle banners show the savings amount before you add to the cart, so compare that against buying the pieces separately.

Buy from BackJoy or an authorized seller

BackJoy warns that imitation seats circulate through unauthorized sellers. Purchases in retail stores fall under that retailer's return policy, not BackJoy's.

Before checkout

  • Check where the cart falls against $90 and $120.

  • Confirm the item is not marked final sale.

  • Decide about the return cost before ordering more than one seat.

  • Buy only from BackJoy or an authorized seller.
