Frequently Asked Questions
Does Benefit Cosmetics offer free shipping?
Yes, free standard shipping is commonly available on orders of $50 or more, with shipping charges applying to smaller orders that fall below that amount.
What is Benefit Cosmetics' return policy?
Most items can be returned within 30 days of shipment for a refund to the original payment method, and this generally includes gently used products, not just unopened ones. Overly used products are not accepted, and shipping and handling fees are not refunded.
Can I return sale items to Benefit Cosmetics?
No, items purchased in the Sale section are final sale and not eligible for return, so it is worth being confident about a shade or formula before buying it at a discounted clearance price.
If I get a free gift with a Benefit Cosmetics order, do I need to return it too?
Yes, if a promotional gift, sample, or bag was included with an order that is later returned, that free item generally needs to be included with the return as well. Keeping all packaging and gifts together until you are sure you are keeping the order is the safer approach.
Does Benefit Cosmetics have a rewards or membership program?
Yes, Benefit Cosmetics runs a free membership program that offers a percentage off discount along with occasional member-exclusive promotions, separate from standard promo codes. Signing up before checkout can unlock a better rate than a general storewide code.
Can I combine a Benefit Cosmetics promo code with a free gift offer?
Often yes, since Benefit Cosmetics frequently runs a free gift threshold, such as a free tote or sample set at a certain spend, alongside a separate percentage off code, and the two are commonly designed to be combined rather than one replacing the other. Checking a code's specific terms confirms whether stacking applies to the current promotions.
Does Benefit Cosmetics offer a student discount?
Benefit Cosmetics has periodically offered a student discount through a student verification partner, giving a percentage off orders with valid enrollment confirmation. Availability of this offer can change, so it is worth checking whether it is currently active before assuming it applies.
