Frequently Asked Questions
How does the GoPure Pod actually work?
The pod uses diatomaceous earth inside a ceramic capsule to attract and neutralize impurities, and it's designed to be dropped straight into your existing water bottle or container rather than requiring a separate filtration system or plumbing. A rinse and short wait, typically around two minutes, is all it takes before the water is ready.
How long does a single pod last?
Each pod is rated for up to six months of use or about 264 gallons of filtered water, whichever comes first, so tracking either your start date or your approximate usage helps you know when it's time to reorder.
Is the Pod safe for any water source?
No, GoPure Pod is intended for use with water that's already potable, meaning it improves taste and removes certain impurities from tap water rather than making unsafe water safe to drink. Checking this distinction matters if you're considering it for travel to areas with genuinely unsafe water.
What's the return policy if it doesn't work for me?
Returns are generally accepted within 30 days of shipment for orders within the contiguous US, so if you're trying it for the first time, keeping that window in mind before opening or using every pod in a multi-pack is worth doing.
Does a coupon code apply to a subscription order?
A subscription option is available for automatic reorders, and since it may already carry its own discount relative to a one-time purchase, testing your coupon code at checkout on your specific order type confirms whether it applies.
Is there a pet version of the Pod?
Yes, a version formulated for pets is available separately from the standard human-use pod, so make sure you're ordering the correct one for your intended use.
