Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I enter a code at checkout?

Enter your discount or promo code in the discount code box on the checkout page before completing payment.

Can I combine more than one code?

No, Sol Passport discount codes cannot be combined with other discount codes or offers, so only one applies per order.

Does Sol de Janeiro offer free shipping?

Yes, orders of $35 or more ship free within the US, and Subscribe to Save orders always ship free regardless of order size.

What's the return policy?

Full or partial returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase for a refund, using the brand's free online return portal. Returns are only accepted for orders placed directly on soldejaneiro.com, not items bought through a retailer like Sephora or Amazon.

How do I earn Sol Passport points?

You earn points for purchases, subscription orders, writing product reviews (with bonus points for adding a photo), following the brand on social media, and signing up for emails.

Can I exchange an item instead of returning it?

No, Sol de Janeiro isn't currently processing exchanges, so you'll need to place a new order and return the original item separately.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes, subscriptions can be paused or canceled at any time from the "My Account" section, with no commitment required.

Saving Guide

Redeem points for dollars, not just products:

Sol Passport points convert into $10, $20, or $50 discount codes that don't expire, so even shoppers who skip the free-product redemptions still get value from points earned on past orders.

Stack subscription points on top of the discount:

Subscribing already saves 10%, but it also earns bonus points at your 2nd and 6th subscription order, compounding the savings for people who reorder the same product anyway.

Choose refills over full-size jars:

Bestsellers like the Bum Bum Cream and Cheirosa 62 Mist offer refill options that cost less than buying a new full-size bottle each time.

Use the referral program both ways:

Giving a friend $15 off costs you nothing and earns you $15 in points once they buy, so it's worth sending the link before any order over $15.

Time a bigger order around a tier upgrade:

Crossing $75, $200, or $400 in yearly spend moves you into a higher Sol Passport tier with access to pricier free-product redemptions for the rest of the year.

Shopping Guide

Pick one Cheirosa scent number and layer it:

Sol de Janeiro's cream, mist, and wash are grouped by scent number (like Cheirosa 62), so buying matching numbers gives a longer-lasting, unified fragrance instead of clashing scents.

Match jar size to how often you'll use it:

Body creams come in travel, standard, and jumbo sizes; occasional users are better off with a smaller size than sitting on an unfinished jumbo jar.

Buy direct if you might return it:

Only orders placed on soldejaneiro.com qualify for the brand's 30-day return policy. A purchase from a retailer has to go back to that retailer instead.
