Frequently Asked Questions
Does Traverse Bay Farms offer free shipping?
Yes. The company offers free shipping on mix and match orders of 8 or more items, a threshold it has held steady even as shipping costs have risen elsewhere. Smaller orders ship at standard rates, so combining a few products is usually the easiest way to unlock the free shipping perk.
Where does Traverse Bay Farms ship, and how fast?
Traverse Bay Farms ships nationwide from its Northern Michigan facility and has served customers in all 50 states since it opened. Local customers in the Northern Michigan area can also get same day delivery on a selection of products through DoorDash.
Can I buy Traverse Bay Farms products locally instead of online?
The company operates two year round retail stores, in Bellaire and Elk Rapids, Michigan, and its products are also stocked in select Kroger, Busch's, and Spartan grocery stores across Michigan. Shoppers outside the state generally need to order through the website to use a coupon code.
What is the sediment free guarantee on the cherry juice?
Traverse Bay Farms says its tart cherry juice concentrate is bottled with the industry's first and only sediment free guarantee, packaged in glass rather than plastic. This is specific to the cherry juice line rather than the full product catalog, so it is worth checking the product description before assuming it applies to a jam or sauce.
Does Traverse Bay Farms run seasonal sales?
The brand has promoted Small Business Saturday with a "Bowl of Discounts" event, where customers draw slips for instant and future savings at checkout. Codes on this page are refreshed as new seasonal promotions like this roll out, so it is worth checking back around major shopping weekends.
Who do I contact if there is a problem with my order?
Traverse Bay Farms handles customer service in house from Elk Rapids, Michigan, with 24/7 live phone support rather than an outsourced call center. That can make it easier to resolve order issues directly, including questions about whether a discount code applied correctly.
Is there a separate brand for supplements?
Yes. Fruit Advantage is the company's sister brand, offering fruit based supplements like tart cherry, wild blueberry, and pomegranate capsules, including a joint support formula called Cherry Prime. Coupon codes for the food side of the business do not automatically apply to the supplement line, so check the fine print on any code before checkout.
